Will we go on a cruise

Me and my girlfriend planned on a weekend cruise next month, Im looking forward to it but im worried we won't be able to go for it in the end. I wanna know if we would eventually make the trip.

Short trips are ruled by 3rd house, which is ruled by Saturn. I the querant is ruled by.. Jupiter. Jupiter square Sun and opposes Mars. Saturn square Jupiter.. er.. im new at this, so please help out? thanks...

A cruise would be more of a 9th house thing, rather than a 3rd house. The 3rd house rules mundane, everyday journeys, like your trip to work every morning. Any sort of 'special' trip, e.g. a cruise, or a holiday, or even a trip to church, is 9th house.

Does that change the chart? Let's see...

And the answer is...probably not! Jupiter is in fall in the 2nd house: money. You may not be able to afford it. The cruise, appropriately signified by the Sun in the 5th of pleasure, moves to square Jupiter, and as the Sun is VERY strong in the chart, and Jupiter weak, this reinforces the idea that a cruise may prove too expensive for you. The Moon in the 4th house receives Jupiter by domicile; since the Moon rules the home, you may decide you'll have more fun at home, anyhow.

thanks for the reply. What happened was we went to the cruises website but found that it was fully booked on that date and subsequent nearer dates =( But it never was a money problem i was concerned about.

The thing is my cruise partner and I are in some sort of affair, so i was sorta worried there would be some unforeseen problems that would affect our decision to go. But sadly the obstacle here was that the tickets were fully booked. Booo~ >.<

whether the chart and ur intepretation is really true that i would stay at home instead, we'll see.

thanks for your reply too. if you see my prev post, you would know that i wouldn't make this trip afterall. But i was wondering, is there any indication that the trip might be postponed? maybe we can't go for it next month but sometime later in july?

Also, the fear intepretation is half right. I look forward to the trip, but i fear we wouldn't make it in the end. It's kind of an impt trip to me because we seldom get to spend lots of time together.

Also, from ur explanation, Jupiter represents me and my girlfriend(querant). If jupiter is in fall, what does it mean?

archergirl is right that your cruise is ruled by the 9th house and therefore signified by the Sun in Aries, as it is something special to you.

The Sun is applying the square with Jupiter. Squares means that things come together, but with delays or problems: Yes, you will go on this trip.

Jupiter (you and your girlfriend) is in Fall: Your situation seems worse than it is.

Im staying in Singapore. It's just a weekend cruise, sort of within the straits of the country, so i thought it is kinda a short trip.

Oh i guess i might make the trip in the end. We intended to go on for the 2N trip but its fully booked, but since we already decided on a trip, she said we'll go anyhow. so yea we'll probably go on maybe the 1N trip. Edward is kinda right that we;ll go in the end, and maybe even better!
