What would signify the start of divorce proceedings in a progressed chart?

hello jilly,
ive read that divorce has to be promised to you natally. Even if you have sat/ven transit for example and divorce is not promised to you natally, and you could be temporarily seperated for some reason. Carol Rushman has a good book on predictive astrology. "The art of predictive astrology." I know that a uranus transit/progression could set off a sudden unexpected change to a relationship/marriage if its in aspect to the ruler of 7th house, or venus. :)

When T Uranus entered my 7th house in my natal chart, l walked out of my marriage. It had been near death for years and Uranus was the conscious spark that made me walk.

Out of nowhere l suddenly saw the light as if l had found courage to go through with my actions. Not sure if any other transits help but l also had

T saturn square N moon exact
T mercury square N pluto
T jupiter opposing N saturn exact
T venus square N pluto 1deg
T pluto square N uranus
T chiron square N moon 1deg

and l have saturn conjunct venus natally.

Thanks for that. Whatabout saturn square the sun and venus...does that signify anything to do with the divorce if they are both in the progressed composite for them at the time?

Saturn squaring sun and venus can most definitely end a relationship. Saturn is a malefic squaring the benefics and the sun rules men in your life and venus your love life. Separations are likely and also it can also bring unstable/unreliable people into your life as well so be very careful who you socialize with. Saturn restricts things so it can also hold things back so look to when saturn leaves the square and goes into next sign or out of orb for some relief. OF course you have to look at entire natal chart to see what is going on natally with Saturn and which house is ruled by Saturn also. The Sun also rules your vitality so please eat your fruits and veggies, exercise because this can also signify health problems for you or someone close and it may restrict you so it can be read in a variety of ways but your natal chart is the key.
