i am learning progression however i still do not have a clear interpretation. I always see the aspects as confusing as ever. I am reading celeste teal and tried to follow her logic and yet still confused:confused:

Can someone gives me a hand to start and or to define the most important aspects

Hi Zohra,

To have a noticeable effect, progressions and transits need to be making aspects to the natal planets/house cusps/nodes. Even a significant progression or transit will probably pass without incident if it does not aspect something in the natal chart.

Having said that, planets that change sign or house by progression/transit will have a background effect on your life. So, you'll be changing slowly - but there will not necessarily be a specific event that brings the change about. It will be more a series of events over time that gradually change the way you see things.

I think the chart you've posted shows only progressions and transits - so cannot be compared to the natal information. Nevertheless, progressed Mercury is moving from Capricorn to Aquarius (opening up your thinking?); progressed Chiron is going from Pisces to Aries (ready to confront a psychological wound from childhood?) and progressed Venus has just entered Pisces (increasing your desire to help others?).

Since all three of those progressed planets (mercury/chiron/venus) are also being triggered/transitted by Pluto - look at the natal chart to see if they are being affected there too. If so, that particular natal issue is what the transit and progression is about.

Interpreting it is more difficult though. However, expect an event that in some way incorporates the houses and sign positions of the natal, progressed and transitting planets involved. Basically, the natal planet tells us what is affected; the progressed/transitting planet tells us how and the houses tell us where.

Thank you to respond, actually the chart shows also the natal Inner weel, but i have posted a solar fire chart for better clarity.

I can see that the moon P will conjunct sun Natal, a new moon beginning, sun is lord of 6 house natal, change of career destiny etc. This is supported by Jupiter Transit conjunct sun but will be retrograde and stationary in july:60:

mercury Progressed will change sign to aquarius, exploring new ideas, change of social circle, new type of works, technology, astrology, political

moon progressed in capricorn becoming more aware of responsiblity, inner urge towards hard work, restriction and building , reassessing new ambitions, new goals

and i am so stuck so confused and too many planetes spinning around the circle:60:

i can't see pluton transiting mercury/chiron/venus. i can only see pluton transit venus NT:eek:

Sorry about the error. This chart is much clearer for me - thanks for posting it.

I calculate progressed charts as at the same time/date of birth each year - so, in your case, it would be as at 11.45am CET on 5 Jan 2008 rather than 8.40.12pm CET on 25 Mar 2008. Doing that shows the progressed house cusps - which can be very useful. So, step 1 = progress the chart using "day-for-a-day" secondary progressions (ie. birthtime/date but progressed year). You may need to do that to align with my comments below, as I'm referring to that (having set it up on my computer).

Transitting Pluto is at 1 degree Capricorn - semi-sextile N+P mercury; sextile Nvenus and 2 degrees after squaring NChiron. I'm allowing an orb wider than 1 degree to Chiron because you (being familiar with astrology) are more likely to respond to the influence than would the average person and Tpluto also makes a 1 degree square to Pchiron. (Remember that I thought the natal chart was the progressed chart in my first post.)

Whilst you're "learning", focus only on inner planet progressions and outer planet transits.

You've picked up Pmoon/Nsun and Pmercury to Aquarius. There is also Pmercury/Nmercury and a wide (3 degree) Pmercury/Nmoon opposition. So, it looks like the focus for this year is on moon and mercury - in other words, the moon/mercury opposition in your natal chart.

Now look at the transits. Focus on transits to Natal/Progressed moon and mercury - as these are the two planets being "activated" by progression. Ignore the rest - otherwise (as you say) information overload will set in. (Remember, nothing significant will happen unless it appears in the natal, progressed and transit charts.)

Transitting Pluto is semi-sextile P+N mercury - activating the natal mercury/moon opposition.

Now, you have to synthesise this information - using your knowledge of what is likely to happen in your life. Only you have the specific knowledge to do that - but you're looking at pluto in capricorn/10th (career change?) activating/affecting the mercury/moon opposition on the natal 5/11 axis (creativity?) and involving their progressed sign/houses (Cap+Aqu/10+11 again).

Hope this helps rather than confuses you even more. But for now, focus on understanding how to narrow down the focus planets rather than how to interpret them after you have done so.

I like someone to put me in my place:38: . I think the difficulty set in when you start to learn to many methodolgy. I am more clearer with transit and solar return. I can evidenced their impact. For instance when Mars T was opposed my ac/mc and square Pluto and saturne T opposed my venus. I lost my job out of the blue hence my income. However my closed boss gave me enough salary to cover my bills

While Uranus T sextile my sun (last phase) i found a job on same day and i am still here. While Pluton/Jupiter T was conjonct exact my MC. I realise that the position i held provided me different skilss and motivation....

While Jupiter T was conjonct my sun (i become to optimist) for my own good, exagerating my enthusiasm, spending more for no reasons etc

While Jupiter T is squaring my saturn, i am living lots of delays with my house repairs (do not have enough resources) to handle every rooms and yet call all self-employed to give me quotes:34:

Than i decided to learn progression, i directed myself to read celest teal and did manage to find all her books:60:

and now is my nightmare as follows;

as you stated only concentrate on inner planets (moon/mercury) the most obvious yet it does repeat a natal aspect but the difficulty is to disregard any orbs over 1 degree.5
