Folks,
I lost one of my earrings somewhere. It is small diamonds stud in gold. Looked all around but can't seem to find it. It has been some months, just thought of asking this question now.
Here is my analysis:
I am Venus, earring is Mars (ruler of 2nd). Mars is in 9th house, indicating I might have lost it while travelling overseas, may be hidden near books/book-cases. Any chances of finding it?
Another big issue is that ASC is via combusta and Moon is as well. Would you still read this chart??
Looking forward to your response.

There is one aspect for recovery and that is applaying aspect from Moon to ASC.
Cusp of 2nd house and ruler of second house are in water sign so look:
near water of any kind, cooking areas, bathrooms, dark or secret places, furnaces, chimneys.
9 house usually indicates item is far away or in church, library, high shelves, college and university, near law documents (passport or ID ), near icons.
near colours: dark red, or white
DIRECTION: Southwest
POF is in 7 house in Ta and that means to look at first floor of a house, or where money is kept, at places near the earth. Look at bedroom, living room, formal dining room or porch. Usually in plain sight. Look at partner's room, office or place of business.
near colours: blue, green, tan
DIRECTION: West
Because Ma and Ju are in mutual reception maybe some neighbor or sister or brother can help you to find it!

Thank you for your insights. I am just a little bit confused here...
POF is in 7 house in Ta and that means to look at first floor of a house, or where money is kept, at places near the earth.
POF is really in Aries in 6th. That would change the places to look for, wouldn't it?
Since you read the chart, VIA COMBUSTA moon & asc are not a concern for you.

Probably you use night formula for POF, but I told with J.Frawley and he said always must be use day formula for POF.
I do not pay attention in these charts on Via combust Moon and ASC because it must be somewhere.

The last aspect Mars, the earring, made was to Saturn, indicating that the earring was lost through an act of 'forgetfulness' by the querent; so it may be that you simply laid the earrings down somewhere and they got swept aside; you obviously still have the one in your possession, yes? (I do this frequently to earrings; lose one and find the other:rolleyes: ).
Since Saturn, the 'act of forgetfulness' sits in the 11th house (which I have found seems to represent bedrooms or rooms where you take comfort and solace) it may be that you should look first there; Mars is near books, documents, passports.
Conversely, using Goca's method, the 6th house represents something like a 'laundry room' or a utility room; in Aries it is somewhere hot, like a heating unit, hot water pipes (fitting, actually, with Mars in Cancer as well), hot water heater, under the dryer, something like that).
Moon applying to Asc indicates there is a chance you'll find it.
I wouldn't worry about Via Combusta in this instance. Via Combusta is best used for emotional questions, not questions about earrings (unless you feel emotional about your earring, of course.;) )

Thank you AG & Goca. I am learning so much!
I will look at specific places a little harder and provide feedback. I really think it should be in my bedroom, on earth, but can't seem to find it. The corner of the bedroom I expect to find it in, matches Goca's direction recommendations -- southwest & west.
Great to know that Via Combusta doesn't play a role in this case. And AG, I wouldn't say that these earrings have significant emotional value. I am just annoyed at my 'forgetfulness'. You were right, I do have one earring with me and am looking to find the other one.
Thanks again!

A few other places, maybe: both the 9th house and Cancer represent light colors: pale, silvery-grey, or light green. Do you have anything matching any of those hues? A coverlet? Rug in the bathroom? Cushion?
Cheers,
AG:)

Hi SaggiRising,
The ear ring is represented by Mars and is located in Cancer in the 9th house. Its co-ruler, the Moon, lies in Libra on the 12th. Both of these houses are cadent and tells us that the earring will be difficult to find and is in a concealed location.
The 9th house normally represents places far away but I have often seen this house appear in lost objects when people are planning for college or vacations. The 12th house Moon points to the bedroom, under the bed or places that you go to "get away" from it all. I would suggest looking in your bedroom around papers, pictures or brochures that would have anything to do with places that you plan on travelling or vacationing to. Mars last seperating aspect was from a sextile to Saturn Rx...Saturn rules the 4th house so it is possible that you had just returned from a distant place when the earring was lost.
If we look at you at that time we would see that Venus, ruler of the 1st - Libra, is located in the 5th house conjunct Mercury, (ruler of 9th\12th). This again confirms the above observatins. The 5th house tells us that you were in the process of doing something recreative or pleasurable at the time that you lost the earring...you could have been with a lover or even returning from a "night on the town." Mercury also represents vehicles so you may want to look in the car and follow the path to your bedroom.
I confer with the water signs meaning that the earring is by water and this could be liquids of any kind, (including pictures of the ocean, etc.).
Best of luck,
Ed

Folks, no luck yet but I'll keep looking. It does seem to be in a concealed location as I've already looked in the obvious places.
Thank you eedwards. Following reading seems accurate as far as I can recall.
Mars last seperating aspect was from a sextile to Saturn Rx...Saturn rules the 4th house so it is possible that you had just returned from a distant place when the earring was lost.
I am fairly certain that it should be in the bedroom somewhere. Keeping fingers crossed...
Thank you all.
Best,
SR
