Does anyone believe that the heavenly bodies can predict some catastrophe that would befall the entire earth or something like it, from within perhaps?

Well I don't want to believe in the book of Revelation but I am tempted to do so every time I see the news

I am not a bible thumper anymore, anyhow I hope someone can see this link of this website. The author is an astrologer who uses Nostradamous, the book of revleations, bible prophecy, astrology (duh), bible code, geography, and sacred things, etc.

I can't post a link, err!!!

please use google then type 'revelation 13.net'

thanks.

Hello There SheReigns....,

Considering that we are currently in the Month of Pisces and just passed a New Moon in Pisces yesterday, I find it very fitting as well as just a little ironic that here we are discussing all manner of frightful, terrifying, Four Horsemen Of The You-Know-What, end-of-the-times scenarios! This would sure be a heck of a swell time for me to do a grand imitation of radio talk show host Art Bell! But I ain't gonna go there and do that! No thanks!

I took a peek at that Website you mentioned and saw, "...a black hole will form in the future from nuclear collider experiments near Geneva". Well, depending on who you know and who you talk to, Geneva already is a black hole where mean and heavy decisions are being made daily about the fate of billions of little folk like us (no offense intended to the little folk who live in Geneva).

Seriously however, my point is that having practiced Astrology for over 25 years, it doesn't take any talent to speak of to make Predictions of Doom and Gloom. Seeing the Negative in any aspect of life doesn't take rocket science. Nasty Predictions are EVERYWHERE and I think it is astounding how much time and energy is going to waste with that kind of waste!

I say that REAL Astrologers don't waste their own and everyone else's time with endless end-time Predictions. What is sorely needed at this juncture of Human History is for some very bright, Extra-Large Brain to offer solid advise and solace as to how Humanity moves itself beyond the BRINK. We urgently need a really darned good Astrologer (or a whole big bunch of them) to see the light at the end of the Pluto in Capricorn tunnel. We need a Psychic with Supergirl X-Ray Vision who can see past the Year 2012 and give the World something to look forward to!

SheReigns, I'm so glad that you're not a bible thumper anymore and I know that plenty of the folks on this Forum will second that! May I suggest that you take the next logical step? Reject all the doomsday scenarios, embrace life-affirming thoughts and activities and do what you can to nuture a future that will be Bright and Jupitarian Good for All! :)

Can I throw in, what I think will save people from this doom and gloom of Pluto in Capricorn? Self sufficiency.
Capricorn, to me represents business. Order. Structure. And BIG money makers. Corporations seem to fit the mold of capricorn to me. Very disciplined, and after fulfilling their own goals. I only have one word for Pluto. Transformation.
Now when I put the two together, I see a transformation of what is binding our western societies together. I think a big change is going to occur with pluto in capricorn, and I think the little people who rely on big business, banks and corporations are going to be the ones to suffer.
I personally think we all want to much, and in order to not to be totally overwhelmed by this placement, I think it will be necessary to drop some things we have grown accustomed to. Credit cards, and loans I would not even be thinking about. I would be buying local, and wouldnt be buying into big business. I will be starting a vegie patch. I will be environmentally aware. Personally, I will be doing everything I can to keep my money away from anything or anyone connected to big business, and or corporations and banks. I think they are all going to get swept down the proverbial kitchen sink, and I dont want to be going down with them.
Would love to hear what any of you may think about this take on the situation. I have been feeling this for many years now. Its only now its making some sense to me. I think Pluto In Aquarius is something worth waiting for. It will certainly see me through the capricorn placement with optimism.

One thing we learn from the study of mundane astrology is that world events are cyclical. Planets eventually change signs and houses and bad times change to good. I often drive at night and have heard Art Bell and his successors on the radio, and I took note of their predictions of impending doom. Most of those predictions have failed.

The physician and astrologer Nostradamus made many cryptic predictions. This one is for the present day: Century 10, Quatrain 72

In the year 1999 and seven months,
A great King of Terror will come from the sky.
He will bring back the great King Genghis Khan.
Before and after Mars rules happily.

__Nostradamus: The Complete Prophesies__, John Hogue, Element, p. 798.

I will not attempt to decipher this Quatrain except that it is most certainly astrological and refers to the solar eclipse of 11 August 1999. The eclipse timing is off slightly, but would be correct under the Julian Calendar. This was a very unfavorable eclipse for governments of nations in mundane astrology, and its power and effects continue even now. It was at 18 Leo, a fixed sign, and opposes the Moon of the USA Gemini rising chart.

Nevertheless, Nostradamus was not predicting the end of the world for he wrote that his prophesies extend until the year 3797. The last cryptic line of the quatrain gives us the happy ending: "Mars rules happily". Even Mars has something good to add; eventually the power of that eclipse will fade; and happier times will come.

"...I often drive at night and have heard Art Bell and his successors on the radio, and I took note of their predictions of impending doom. Most of those predictions have failed...."

Absolutely correct Culpeper - and isn't this fact very telling all by itself! The Earth seems to have some sort of built in (or "external") safeguard to protect it against Humankind's most concerted efforts to blow everything up to high heaven!

Still, I think it is definitely in our best interest if the various factions of Humanity would re-direct their efforts away from wreaking complete havoc.....:(
