But I seriously do not know what I would write about...
Any suggestions??
Your life. As influenced by astrology. Events and astrological elements. Spirituality and astrology. How you see astrology. Anything relevant to you.

If nothing personal comes to mind. Write about how Astrology affects other people, societies, or history. Ideas could stem from real life situations: the freaky coincedence of horroscopes, the horrible inacuracy and diverstiy of other horroscopes.
Why Sun-sign astrology is garbage.
Educate them in the fact that a person is a complete chart, not just one small segment of it.

Write about those people like to read. I have horoscope site but there is only global information. On blog you may to write your own experience with astrology.
For example you are scorpio but your personal characteristic is other than for scorpio. Why? Which signs you like and with which have conflict...
There are many topics on this...

Sometimes reading others blogs can help you to create a question or query on your own. Read through the blogs, then maybe someone might spark your interest and you can go from there.
Or you can start by just responding to the blogs, getting an idea of what it is like responding, thus you can see how others respond to certain subjects. After seeing what is a hot subject you can research it or learn it and then be able to participate.
Just a few ideas, that is how I started. :)

I have an astrology blog although I haven't released it to the public yet, lucky them :D . I will do when I get around to it. So far my topics have been Pink and her chart, a little girl who got murdered, Uranus transits since I am personally going through them, so felt quite inspired to write about it. I have also written something about the perfection of beauty, it was about using the new photo editors and posting perfect images on the net. Another topic was feminine beauty, female energies through the chart, I saw this video of women's beauty through time, it is all morphed together looks a bit creepy, but is fascinating to watch. I called the topic women through time. Topics are really easy to think of astrology to me is everyday life. Love, relationships, work, career, self. Just find a way to astrologically talk about it all. I like to venture to the difficult, shocking topics as well. Keep it varied but interesting. :)
Hey, Miss, what is the point of posting a blog if you keep it to yourself?
I have asked the same question to my wife, also a Pisces, who started a blog some time ago and then quickly abandonned it when she found out that someone has actually visited it. :D
I can't understand you guys.
No wonder Virgos and Pisces are opposite in the zodiac. :34:

Maybe it is a Pisces thing, we are quite shy deep down, although I am not that shy about posting online as I post on the forum, which is good practice for blogging :D . I have signed up to about 6 or 7 blogs just to spread my blog about :p . My Jupiter in Leo 11th likes to Network a LOT. When I have my day off on Sunday I might release my blog. Add a couple of more subjects to it. I have Moon/Mercury trine Uranus chatting continuously about astrology is no problem, probably comes easily to me. I just to need to let my baby blog be born, aww I will have to look at the birth chart for Sunday when I will be going into labour :D.
You may however want to delay labour and to hold your baby blog a little longer until Mercury will become direct again (May 26 - June 19)...

I will delay the birth a little a longer then, until Mercury moves forward. Thanks for the advice ;) .

Hi,
I have had a blog for a couple of months now:
I have just found someone has copied all my signs onto theie blog, should I complain or leave it. As my blog is public anyway. I will keep an eye on the other blog as I don't want all my posts over there. Maybe the person justs posts things on there randomly but there is no mention on this blog of where the posts have come from. Maybe there is nothing to worry about maybe I am being paranoid  .
P.S I was Miss Saturn on this thread so many identities so little time :-)
If it was your text - you hold the copyright for it and you are entitled to ask the other website owner to remove your text, no doubt about it.
Just be able to prove the material was original and posted on your blog first.
And, from here out, post terms of reprint very visibly.

On his blog there seems to be a lot of different topics, maybe some other's are taken from different blogs too. I will double check it, but he could have just linked to my blog he never really asked permission to post all my signs onto his blog. If nothing else of mine goes on there I will leave it for now. :)
Radu,
I take it you're the boss around here... Pleased to meetcha.
While we're on this topic, I have seen quite a few articles pasted here in their entirety, leaving the door open to problems, even if the authors are fully credited. May I suggest a rule that limits quotes to 50 words with full attribution. If more is needed, post the link.
Believe me, anyone whose material is posted here without their permission can wreak havoc. I'm a writer who faces this problem daily when I have to cite research by famous doctors, and I have fired several people who would have put our company at risk of litigation for plagiarism.
You may find it a little difficult to enforce, but AT LEAST, POST A WARNING ABOUT POSTING COPYRIGHTED MATERIAL.
Just my thoughts...
c
cjc: true - I remember I have met this situation several times before: authors/webmasters looking up their texts on the internet and finding that they were pasted entirely/partially on this forum by different members; they took offence even if the source was properly mentioned and a link was visibly placed; that really doesn't matter - the texts were copied without permission and they were right to ask to have them deleted, which I did obviously.
People usually do this on forums and find it helping to illustrate their thoughts with excerpts from different interpretation from the net.
Good point and suggestions, thanks!
EDIT: I added this mention to forum rules:
Copyright
In order to respect copyright laws, members are asked not to paste in their posts texts copied from other websites or other publications that are over 100 words long. In all cases of quoting, the source of the respective excerpts is to be properly mentioned. Also, if the text is publicly available online, a link to the source should be placed.
Any suggestion of improvement? (from native English speakers)
Radu,
I think that's great. I believe your 100 words is the limit for plagiarism; that's why I suggested 50... hopefully for stopping them before they got there.
If this doesn't work, maybe threaten members with banishment! ;-}>
Thanx... It's a great site and I'd hate to see it hurt by stupidity.

I post links to authors whether I write material based on my understandings or not. It helps me to not explain a whole theory or method in astrology or psychology because I can get on with the point of my blog.
Blogs are about anything you wish and some of the good ones describe astrology in your own field of experience. You may not wish to openly express your current experience and feelings with respect to your chart and current aspects but it does help to learn more about self and astrology if you do.
I might write about subjects that are important to me at the time, astrological items and things that I become interested in my life.
So by explaining the content of my blog I may refer to other authors to either back up my points or short cut the theory elelments for those readers who are not familiar with the concept. I tend to write with the expectation that others have a fundamental knowledge of astrology however in many cases peopple who comment on my blogs have no understandiong at all. The main point is to writye in a way others understand what you are wishing to say or express in your life.
There are plenty of astro blogs out there and you might like to look up Top Ten or astrology blogger which are syndicated services for astrology blogs.

so you can write to yourself and then look back and see if your feelings were backed by a transit!
Will you PLEASE stop dealing with sunsigns and look at complete charts????
No wonder we're looked at as fools.... putting 6 billion people into 12 neat little packages.
Stop it! Read the whole chart or get the hell out of astrology.

Crickey, I get between 100 and 200 visits a day to my blog. Don't start a blog if you don't wish anyone to read it.
Good to see you Tikana, your icon picture has changed somewhat.

All of these are great suggestions. If I were to stumble upon your blog I would definitely read it if you took them into consideration. Just my two cents.
