SO- I was here to say to Tikana originally that I didn't come back with my dad's reply to the Greek question becasue you recieved the correct answer a lot faster than my sluggish father, who likes to take his time to stop and smell the roses.

I was curious about finding out if anybody out there would happen to have the chart of Tolkien. The reason for this is because he made up his Elvin languages. I have actually thought about trying to learn before, but I can't do it bc I feel like I am wasting time that could be devoted to something more useful.

However, Tolkien's languages are very much alivel, I found this link:

Gaer taught me how neptune-pallas is intuitive, good at patterns, (he, my dad, and I have this) and I wonder if Tolkien has this too. Making up an Elvin language seems a little Neptunian, and to make up a language, you would need to develop *patterns* no?

-Does anyone on the forum speak Tengwar or any other Tolkien derived language? I'd like to see your chart. and if you do, why did you learn it, and how on earth do you use it? If there's an online translator for it, there must be a demand!!

Tolkien was born January 3, 1892 in Bloemfontein (29°06' S / 26°13' E), South Africa, time unknown (by me at least).

Pluto is conjunct Neptune in Gemini within 30' of arc - a mystical transformation of language? - but this is very generational. It's nicely trined with Venus in Aquarius, indicating a love or liking for the unusual, but Venus squares Uranus in Scorpio, making a lot of this weirdness unpleasant. Mars, also in Scorpio, trines Jupiter in Pisces - warriors from the Underworld are in harmony with the ancient god of the psychic seas.

Mercury in the first degree of Capricorn squares Saturn in the first degree of Libra. As Saturn begins to lay down the letter of the law regarding relationships, Mercury begins to draw up the law relating to the letters (the structure of language).

'Fraid I'm not a Tolkien scholar. The only time I speak Elvish is when I'm drunk at a rock'n'roll karaoke! :D
