You can change...if you are willing to change. If you are willing to stop focusing on being "lonely" and make the effort to get out and meet other people, your life will change and your loneliness will become less. If you are willing to take the time to figure out what makes you happy and then work towards those goals, your life will become happier. But if you don't do the work you won't get the change.
