I have had so many experiences in my life that i think it is about time i helped some others out.......I dont want to go into what my experiences have been but i am starting to think i should look into social work....
I am wondering if anyone can see in my chart this direction....do you guys from looking at my chart, think i have what it takes.....personal experience is one of my biggest assets i think, and i have steered myself away from some really full on stuff....i dont think i am perfect, but i still think my life resume could be of some help to others
if anyone would care to take a look that would be great.....i am also interested in knowing what in my chart you think could be obstacles for me reaching this goal.........

Yes you do - you could do it well
You
- have planets in the 12th so have a link to the ancestoral realm and other neptunian resources
- Neptune in the 11th - could empathatically connect to people
- Uranus on the midheaven - could stand back and observe the whole picture for them which would help them with perspective
- Chiron on the IC - chiron was the wounded healer - this is a great place to contact what is hidden from view especially the familial dynamic - the IC is the point of starting & ending some say

Yes I agree that you would make a good social worker Liquid. Experiencial backgrounds are most valuable for that sort of work. It would be detrimental for some social workers to not have some life experience I think. A good plan as Natasha has outlined is the Family of Origin work that perhaps will consolidate your experiences. that sort of personal - emotioanal integration is essential for making the right decisions with clients.
So, the 4th house and inherited family chiron crisis' that interplay in your personality and integrating issues with Sun Moon role models in 12th can be resolved through cognitive work and the study that makes you a social worker. If you see the poersonal development as a part of the "work", I imaging your cappy sun and moon would ho along with that quite well.
Venus and Merc are also in good position for you in his regard.

i am at a point i feel in my own personal owrk that i dont think i am moving ahead in respects anymore....thats why i think the act of study and helping others would help me............its a point i think i have reached.
Family of origin.......is that actually a form of study/work....?
thanks kingsley

ok its on the net.....let me look......thanks guys.
I dont think i would ever claim to be "perfect", a humbling trait for a social worker i think.....but i do agree that there are things that i could improve...this family of origin could help and i am sure the process of the study will also help ALOT...........about time i helped out my cap moon and sun a bit!;)

just google 'working with Family of origin'
you may get an astralian site regarding abuse, however it has some handy information.

I cant think of a web site but suggest reading
- Erin Sullivans - Dynasty The Astrology of Family Dynamics
and
- Liz Greene - The Astrology of Fate
The latter is quite heavy and symbolic but it is really about family dynamics using Greek mythology as imagery.
I still like to refer to both books even tho I have read them a couple of times
was also going to say that the imagery around entering study for social work as Chiron crosses ones ascendant is very apt seeing that Chiron is the 'wounded healer' and arent we all wounded during the journey and looking to be healed. I think its also an image of entering into something new which can heal others and heal us.

Liquid green--If you can handle the energy of your Uranus square As, I say, absolutely yes. You'd be a great social worker! mountain

Why not? your sun and moon are in the 12th house with a capricorn! You could do exceedingly well with the sea goat's blessing of striving to be a social worker! :D

To all,
Remember, you can always PM people if you have a personal, non-astrological message for someone. To PM someone, click on the person's name and then choose "Send a private message to..."
Moderately,
Tim

Thanks to everyone for your replies.....
I am going to seriously going to look into it as a study option in the near future.....its great cos a lot of the study can be done at home i believe, which suits me being a single mum well.
uranus, is always something to keep a check on mountain!
And thanks to everyone who has helped with the family of origin stuff.
thanks

Sure you can!
Here are a couple of things from your chart:
Positive:
Mercury in Aquarius -- this helps you come at problems from different angles and to provide unique insight into people's problems
Potentially Negative:
North Node in Sag -- Be careful of being too chameleon-like and changing to suit the situation. Wait, I'm not being clear: NN in Saggers tend to seek approval from people and will adapt dramatically and give the answers people want to hear -- not a good trait for a social worker! ;)

Thanks HH......yeh finding that NN trait in myself alot looking at charts.....gotta get a backbone.....but i also want to be sympathetic and compassionate with people..........i guess social work will be alot about building trust.....i dont want to go and tell someone with heaps of troubles where they are going wrong without some positive imput aswell........my mc sits in libra, so hopefully in a career i can find the balance.
thanks for your imput............hope to see you around a bit
