Try to guess Asc?

Hello everyone...

Not sure if this is the right topic...

I would like to find out a friend of mine's Asc, his sun is in Scorpio, but I don't know the birth time, so I should try to guess...But I really need your help....I'll try to describe him, so plz tell me what you believe according to that...

He is ambitious and he likes the high-status...He can do anything for somebody else, but he always remembers what and for whom and he has to get something back...This is for granted! If not, he can get mad and he will show that (not in violent means:p) and also he feels non-respected...He is a show-off (though not in a tragic degree) with his acquaintances, his achievements, his possessions...He likes to be in the in the centre of attention and he will try to, sometimes too hard that he can't hide it!
Also, he is really smart, he can be really serious in his discussions and he has a good relation with technology (gadgets etc)...
His love relationships are kind of weird...They last long enough, and he gives the impression that he takes it really seriously, but he always leaves first and gets into another relationship right away..
Also, though he appears soo self-confident to the others, he fells easily neglected and I believe that lots of his moves and actions are just to give him attention....He is warm enough with ppl when he wants and fun in some ways, though he looks a little bit difficult to be approached when he is serious...Also he likes gossip!He just likes to know everything and he is not exactly the type that will keep it for himself...Though, if he has to keep a secret he is able too...But only if he thinks it is important...

What are some of the other planetary placements in his sign? If he has a strong emphasis upon Scorpio already, he may not necessarily have a Scorpio Ascendant as well as a Scorpio Sun...

I don't like guessing Ascendants unless there is a certain time frame to go by. Have you already tried asking your friend for his natal data, or do you feel uncomfortable asking him? If this is the case, listen for openings in a conversation; there are some clever ways you can ask without asking, but I'm not going to mention any here because some members may have objections to not asking for this information outright.

I cannot ask him his time of birth, I 'll try though through other methods..I was just wondering and trying to guess somehow, so I thought to ask for more opinions...Foolish...:):)

Yes, I agree; I recommend creating two charts for his day of birth--the very earliest time he could have been born (midnight, which begins that day) and the very last time he could have been born.

See is in a different sign in each of these charts; sometimes you will get lucky at the Moon will nor have changed signs that day, or else, it was in a particular sign for the vast majority of that day.

The Moon will help to give us a better picture, although it's still incomplete without the rest of the chart and aspects.

Unfortunatelly there are two candidates for his moon...Either Aries or Taurus...

I would say LEO Ascendant also. If you try the Leo ASC, where the Moon would be?

If the time of birth is before 00:10, then it is Aries Moon ans Leo Asc, and if after 21:40 it is Taurus Moon with Leo Asc....

I think I' ve been tiring enough here...Obviously, I should quit!:p

Guessing an individual's Ascendant can be difficult, if even you know them well, so I suggest that you don't stress yourself over it.

Even if you've got an approximate time frame, it can be difficult to choose between two Ascendants, no less twelve; you tend to overanalyse and see bits of each sign in the individual's personality, which is normal.

Nevertheless, you may be interested in reading All 12 Signs Rising -- Which Is Your Ascendant? (http://www.elbertwade.com/page60.html) to get a better feel for some of the physical characteristics and mannerism of each Ascendant; there are more specific articles about each Ascendant sign and its decanates, but if you're not sure of the Ascendant sign, don't try to guess the decanate of that sign.

It makes for interesting reading, and you can also apply the interpretation to the individual's Sun :)

I'd put all my money on LEO!!!

Guessing a person's Ascendant can be incredibly hard ... I've been there. The tricky thing is that the more you think about it and analyze his/her personality, the more likely it becomes that you throw personality traits into the picture that are actually a result of the placements of the other planets. It's been my personal experience that usually the first guess is closest to the actual Ascendant. Anyway, good luck!!! :69:
