Hello!
As I can't read it on my chart myself, I'm posting here with the hope that my profession choice is the right for me, so I would really appreciate your help...
I'm a med student, I need 3 more years to finish, plus the extra time after that...I'm 25 now and I've already spent 4 years in Biology..
At the time I got my first degree I couldn' t make the dinstinction through which I like the most...Research is the one thing and healing ppl, plus the personal contact the other...So I got into medicine!
At the moment, there are times that I know that I did the right thing, no matter how long it will take...But there are other times that I have second thoughts and I feel that there is no motive for all this in me...I have a good balance between studying and personal life, so I don't believe that this is my prob...
Can someone take a look in my chart and help me a little bit???
Thank you!

Hello Capri1983,
Well, will you look at that busy, busy, busy 2nd House of Money and personal values!
Neptune is in your 1st House. You are very curious and inquisitive! And hardly anything is ever completely resolved or settled to your complete satisfaction, is it?
You have absolutely nothing in the 6th House, which govern's the helping and healing professions - doctors, dentists, nurses, etc. So I have absolutely no reason to think that is where you are going to settle in your career on a long term basis.
You do have Jupiter and Uranus in the 12th. Some astrologers associate the 12th House with Hospitals. Jupiter and Uranus working together with Saturn in Scorpio would easily place you in the Emergency Room, a fast paced environment that would place heavy demands on split-second decisions and a dedicated professional concern for others in order to save lives. I don't really see you doing this for long, however. Although having many Planets in Aquarius makes for fast thinking and cool professionalism, the strain and drain on your nervous system may well be good reason for you to eventually find something less emotionally demanding.
I do believe that you would find a certain personal fulfillment in scientific research (bio-technology, genetics, pharmaceutical research, etc.) Saturn in Scorpio has plenty of interest in what makes the Universe tick. Jupiter - Uranus could push the envelope for breakthroughs and discovery. But Part of Fortune in Sagittarius so close to your Ascendant with all of those Aquarius Planets in the Money House implies to me that you have a desire to be your own boss and write your own ticket. Maybe that won't happen until a little later in your career, but really I think that you have ideas of your own and you will look for ways to "do your own thing".

Hello Derestanne and many many thanks for your time to answer to my post!!!:)
You are soooo right in many things here! Unbelievable!
Neptune is in your 1st House. You are very curious and inquisitive! And hardly anything is ever completely resolved or settled to your complete satisfaction, is it?
This is so true! I believe that my first word was "why?" rather than mom/dad!! :P I find this part ammusing and creative, I don't know about the others though! :D
You do have Jupiter and Uranus in the 12th. Some astrologers associate the 12th House with Hospitals. Jupiter and Uranus working together with Saturn in Scorpio would easily place you in the Emergency Room..............Although having many Planets in Aquarius makes for fast thinking and cool professionalism, the strain and drain on your nervous system may well be good reason for you to eventually find something less emotionally demanding.
I gave it myself a lot of thinking, and this place I found the most 'exciting' place to work in! I can't stand routine, it can make me really lazy and block me by all means! So I hope to avoid it however I can! But also, this stressfull and emotional part of emergencies, is something that is really giving me second thoughts...!!! OMG, you are soo right!
You have absolutely nothing in the 6th House, which govern's the helping and healing professions - doctors, dentists, nurses, etc. So I have absolutely no reason to think that is where you are going to settle in your career on a long term basis.
This is a bit upseting, not just because of the years spent for studies, but also I can see a part in me that gets really happy by trying to help others and make them feel better....:( Who knows, maybe I do need these Pluto effects, just to make things clear!!!
I do believe that you would find a certain personal fulfillment in scientific research (bio-technology, genetics, pharmaceutical research, etc.)...........But Part of Fortune in Sagittarius so close to your Ascendant with all of those Aquarius Planets in the Money House implies to me that you have a desire to be your own boss and write your own ticket.......you have ideas of your own and you will look for ways to "do your own thing.
I do love research, I find it really interesting, to try to get answers that can be applied, but yes 'to do my own thing' is something that I believe I need in my life...I do have my dreams, and I am an ambitious person I have to admit, but planning and following a pathway doesn't really works well with me! My Capricorn is bit lazy in this part!:p So there is always a faint picture about my future....And the bad thing is that I really need to be motivated, in order not to be unhappy! So I should rely in Pluto from now on to put things in order???
Thank you very much again for your time, I was surprised by this interpretation...

Hi capri1983,
I certainly did not mean to imply that you are NOT concerned about the welfare of others. Indeed you are! Your Saturn is in the 11th House of giving back to society. Your 1st House Neptune is plenty compassionate. Your Pluto in Libra wants fairness and justice and wants to level the playing field for the disadvantaged. The question is, "what do you owe to yourself in the process?".
My wife is a career Registered Nurse AND an Aquarian. But unlike your Chart, my wife has three Aquarian Planets (plus her Sun) in her 6th House of the Helping and Healing Professions.
After more than 30 years in the Nursing Profession, she finds that she can no longer maintain the rigors of this work. She recently gave her resignation and is now teaching Nursing full time at a local Community College. As she is also a very good nurse educator, this has been a completely successful career adjustment for her.
Capri, if I may suggest, based on your Chart I think that you should consider, as separate issues, first the shorter term picture of what you would like to do when you complete your education. Then later, create a broader, more long term plan for your Career. And it might be wise not to "etch in stone" what the longer term plan might look like, until you give yourself and your work environment the opportunity to suggest long term options.
Capri, as an Aquarian, I know that you are thinking 5 or 10 years into the future! That is a big trait of all Aquarians - they're progressive; they look ahead! And that is as it should be for you, but don't forget to live in the present - and next year - at the same time!

Thank you again Derestanne!
I find your advice really helpful and I know that this is the right thing to do! Hopefully, I will soon figure these all out to make the choice that suits best my needs!
I don't want to be more tiring, but I would like to make one more question if you have the time...Hmmm, I guess its this Neptune's fault!!! :-)
I 'm new to astrology, I try to learn how to use and interpret all these... I thought that my Saturn was in the 10th house, but I assume that eventually it is in the 11th, because it is so close to the cusp of the 11th?
If you have the time, plz answer to this LAST question!!! :) Thank you

Capri,
Here is where we get into some really, really fine (and arguably nit picky) points of astrology.
The first time I looked I was viewing the small size chart and I thought I saw Saturn about 1 degree inside your 11th House. But examining your Chart carefully again, full size, your Saturn is like, 3 and a half degrees Scorpio and the 10th - 11th House Cusp is around 5 degrees Scorpio. So your Saturn is really technically in the 10th House.
That being said, the different House Systems will bump your Saturn back and forth between your 10th and 11th Houses. And any time a Planet, Asteroid, etc. is hanging on a cusp line, like your Saturn is, it is probably pulling "double duty" affecting both of the Houses involved. I never consider a cusp planet a coincidence. The way I look at it, that particular planet was so important to you that you "arranged" for it to be a switch hitter and pull some double duty for you!
So I maintain that your Saturn is influencing both your 10th and your 11th Houses. It makes you good in the workplace (10th House) and it makes you concerned with helping society (11th House).
You can get other opinions on this, but since your Saturn "conjuncts" your 11th House cusp, you can certainly "bank" that it is lending itself to your 11th House!

Oh, thank you! This tip is so useful!! And how many questions it brought with it.....OMG! :)

Hello again!
I'm really sorry to bother once more, but I read again your answers and there is a part that confuses me...
How can I have all these Aquarius characteristics just by two planets there, when there are four(with lilith) in Capricorn?
Should I consider those Capricorn planets, or at least Mercury which is closer to Aquarius, just like it happens with Saturn?
Can thay give me Aquarius traits?
I'm really sorry, but I got a bit confused...I don't mean to enroach your time :(
Thank you again!

Hi Capri,
Well, I must fess up! The "Web Style" Chart you provided has made life difficult for me! I never, never use this Chart Style (!!!), because it is difficult to read at a glance unless you ALSO read the accompanying Aspects Map! The Web Chart Style displays a "zodiac deliniation line" between Lilith and your Moon. Only it wasn't a "real" zodiac deliniation line. It sure fooled me!
What I normally work with in Placidus Charts is a "Decanates" Chart Format, which leaves absolutely no doubt or question about precise House Cusps and Zodiac Placement of Planets. I have come to rely so much on that Chart Style that I don't normally have to study the Aspects Map unless I need to verify Ascendant and Midheaven degrees and minutes.
Having deliberately pulled up your Aspects Map, I now realize you have Sun, Moon and Mercury in Capricorn, making you a "Triple Capricorn".
Only your Venus and Mars are in Aquarius.
How does this change what I said previously about your 2nd House and your personality?
Having more Capricorn in your 2nd House actually increases the tendency for you to get serious about self employment! As the 2nd House is a measure of personal values, with Capricorn in the 2nd you identify yourself as a leader in business matters, as being management oriented and as having a great determination to succeed and reap the financial rewards of your hard work.
Having Venus and Mars in Aquarius in the 2nd House is a reflection of personal idealism relating to your values. Venus in the 2nd House is considered fortunate in all financial matters and it adds a sense of refinement in matters of personal taste (fashion, art, etc.). Mars in the 2nd House can add to personal finances through "Martian" professions; engineering, mechanics, etc. Neither Mars nor Venus is particularly strong nor stronger than the other when placed in Aquarius.
In the final analysis, when I take everything into account (Sun, Moon and Mercury Conjunct in Capricorn and Venus / Mars in Aquarius all in the 2nd House):
You are a tremendously "focused" type person. You are "programmed to succeed" no matter the odds or the difficulty in your undertakings. You are attracted to people and environments that are accomplished and successful. You may find it difficult to separate intellect from your emotions. Life is serious for you and you are serious to yourself!
Because Moon in Capricorn is a "Detriment" Position for your moon, it is weaker than your Sun. You will have to work on cultivating your emotional self and check the tendency to put strong ambition first and personal feelings last!
Hopefully now we have cleared everything up and put things into proper perspective! Sorry about any confusion and all the best in your Career Plans!

Hey Capri, no problem! There are at least several dozen House Systems and Chart Types. Some are so old and obscure they are considered Astrological Antiquities and are not in common use anymore!
Astrologers can be creatures of habit. I use the same Chart Drawing all the time and looking at another layout then strains the eyes and the brain. Next time, I'll look more carefully!
Thanks for the challenge!
