My Wife and I sat hear reading your answer and we could not stop smiling. You are %110 spot on the money! Everything you said is true, there is not a grey area anywhere. The only comment I might make is, If there WAS "backlash from her family", I did not hear about it.
"adolescent emotional rapture".... How very true! We are both 60 years old and we still sit watching a movie holding hands.
The day we met, she walked into the room and our eyes met. There was an immediate lightning bolt of connection and we have been inseperable ever since.
