I was listening to a program on the radio commenting Belgium's current problems between the two linguistic/economic regions (French speaking in the South and Flemmish in the North).
There is a "danger" for the foreseeable future that the two language communities grow further apart.
For some, the probability that Flanders and Wallonia would separate completely (like Czechia and Slovakia did), making Belgium disappear, is quite small. The reason is that none of the two communities is prepared to give up Brussels, (predominently French speaking) which because of its multilingual status cannot be cut up into a Flemish and Walloon part. But who knows?

Nevertheless, when the radio program ended I decided to do a chart:
Will Belgium separate in two?

Saturn being in the 7th, retrograde, is a definite no no, as "the astrologer is quite capable of getting things wrong here".

Or is it?
Is it a Consideration before Judgement here or not? What do you think?
If we consider that the question pertains to "relationship" and is of a 7th house nature, then Saturn simply become part of that delineation.

In that case the ruler of the ASC is Saturn retrograde in the 7th house . This would point to the importance of relationship and co-habitation currently in Belgium'affairs. Saturn is also conjunct the Part of discord (do any anyone use Arabic parts?)
"When the Querent's Sig is retrograde use the Moon."

The Pisces Moon is in the first house showing that the people of Belgium are experiencing changes now but the moon is intercepted showing some interference. The Moon's last passed over Uranus and we can expect that whatever comes out of the situation disruptions and sudden change will manifest.

The ruler of the 7th house is Capricorn Sun in the 11th house of hopes.

The previous aspect of the Moon was a square to Venus 5 somethings ago and the last aspect before the Moon moves in Aries is a square to Gemini Mars (the enemy brothers..) retrograde.. This aspect is perfect in 5 somethings.

I would appreciate some comments as I am very curious. And one can always learn from mistakes so I am welcoming your comments!

Hi

As Belgium is a foreign country it should be represented by the 9th house - cusp in Scorpio. Mars, its ruler, is in Gemini = therefore perfectly incarnating the two peoples forming this country.

- Mars is retrograde, suggesting that the country's situation will not evolve [towards the future you inquired about].
- Also Mars' applying aspects are quite benign: square to the Moon, trine Neptune.
- 9th house cusp in a fixed sign [=continuity]

The answer is therefore no, Belgium will not split.
