Astrology and chance

Can anyone tell me what are considered favorable houses and positions for winning at games of chance (lotteries, slots, etc.) or landing a really good job? I've heard so much about Mars retrograde lately yet people still win state lotteries or land the perfect job everyday. Just what is it in their charts that indicates such good fortune?

According to Vedic astrology, the Vedic planet 'Rahu' can bring winnings through lotteries/unexpected wealth, if favouarbly placed in the 6th house. This would also depend on the positions of the lords of wealth, fate and gains.

I did this in a blog post blabbering on about my luck changing. If nothing happens I am throwing my astrology books in the bin :kissing:.

I will have an extremely lucky time in June/10 when transiting :jupiter: and :uranus: :conjunct: exactly in my 8th house and :trine: my :jupiter: in :leo: in the 11th (Uranus house). I am looking forward to this transit. Do you think I am going to be LUCKY? I guess people born the same day as me have the same transit, but my transits are moving through the 8th house of other people's money. It could be another AFOG (another f****ing opportunity for growth). I read that amusing little astro-phrase in one of my books.

According to Carol Rushman in her book Predictive Astrology, your chart has to promise this kind of luck or it's not going to happen. Here are some indicators for luck and success:



Income is shown by the second and eighth houses.
Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto in positive aspect to Venus/and or Jupiter bring wealth. Uranus to Jupiter or Venus can be sudden, unexpected windfall.
A client with good Neptune/Jupiter aspects seems to be able to manifest money. Faith and beliefs manifest money. (I believe, I believe ha ha).
Pluto can bring inherited wealth. It can indicate great wealth. Multimillionaire charts have Pluto/Jupiter or Pluto/Venus connections.
Venus trine Saturn can bring wealth, through property or real estate.
Sun in the second house making several aspects. Sun unaspected in second house is more limited.
Sun in one of the angular houses.
8th house placements can accumulate wealth.
Planets at 27, 28, 29, can achieve something special. Most often in Earth and Water, although all the signs have been seen. 29 degrees Taurus-Scorpio can be bankrupt.
Venus/Jupiter can marry money.

I played the lottery with my partner under Jupiter conjunct Sun, but nothing happened and I am still here on this forum, dirt poor. I am still waiting for good luck under my first Jupiter-Uranus aspect, nothing great has happened yet :lol:. It's good to start anything under positive transits, I began another music blog :tongue:, they do succeed better. I don't really know about luck, I don't follow other people's chances and good fortune, it's too painful.

The 5th house is supposed to relate to gambling. It might be interesting to look up past lottery winners if data is available and check the transits, but it would be better to have an accurate birth time for houses. Some people win big money and become very unhappy and perhaps the transits at the time of the win show the reason why. I looked at my Dad's chart the other day and noticed he had a Jupiter-Uranus conjunction in Cancer, but he never won anything, but he was lucky to have me as a daughter :tongue:.

I guess the real value on luck comes down to what you want in life. Maybe your lucky to be alive, have naturally straight hair, have big boobs :lol:. The grass is always greener on the other side - and that is true in so many complex ways. I guess this transit is making me philosophical :kissing:. Why we are we always unhappy with our lot in life, but I like money too :wink:

My friend does the stocks and shares, he doesn't know his exact time of birth though. He is succesful with money, some would consider him lucky.

I'd consider 5th house also, for gambles and 'games' of chance! My 5th is ruled by Venus in Aquarius, trine to a 9th house Pluto. Possibly this increases my chances of being lucky in gambles. Might test that one out on the roulette on my next holiday!

I got a lump sum recently, transiting Jupiter was trine my 2nd house ruler Saturn. Natally Jupiter is trine Saturn. Moon rules my 8th house and is in the 2nd house, Juptier has conjuncted this a month or so ago. Natal promise perhaps for me was Juptier trine Saturn, Venus trine 9th house Pluto (it involved a lawyer).
