what transits would mark the sudden outburst of violence and mass genocide that took place in april through july 1994? also what would signify the world turning its back on these events?

This is an excellent question, but I believe it may be difficult to answer without the national chart of Rwanda.

I actually did a project about this country a few months ago, but I can't remember what year it was formed. I'll have to try to dig through my research...

EDIT: According to the Rwanda (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rwanda) article on Wikipedia (http://www.wikipedia.org/), Rwanda gained its independence from Belgium on July 1, 1962. I'll have to find the exact time and place of this independence to create the chart, though.

I came across a site that stated that the UN General Assembly granted Rwanda independence on this date, but I'm a bit hesitant to make the United Nations the setting of the chart.
