I am just wondering about the galactic centre.......what importance does it hold in our natal charts........( i actually swore i was going to be good and just stick to the planets in a trad way, but its come up umpteen times today, so i thought i should ask!).......also how do i put in on my chart?

The Galactic Center in any Horoscope Chart points to the relationship of the Subject of the Chart to the Macrocosmic Universe. And I see a great profound paradox in this. The PBS Science Program NOVA advertises that the Universe has neither an Edge nor a Center! And many others are arriving at the same conclusion.

If the Universe has neither an Edge nor a Center, then the "Galactic Center" could only be something figurative and hypothetical - or is it???

Galactic center is not the same as the universal center... It's this galaxies center... idk what it means astrologically i would like to know since that's whre uranus was for me. The logical conclusion is that the universe is infinite because what would be on the other side of an edge? unless you just go back, but i doubt it. The center is you.

My Galactic Center placement is 4 Sagittarius 7th house conjunct my Venus and Descendant in Sagittarius. (Western Sidereal)

I just used that website and found the Galactic Center in my chart was at 26*31' SAG. If you use this website make sure you type in your Universal time of birth....I messed up at first.
I have no idea how to interpret that at all, but it is neat to know. That is in my 4th house.

I messed up too at first so I empathize.
I figured it out today.:joyful:
The reason my degrees are different are also because I've been using Sidereal.
In Tropical it would be the same degree as yours.:smile: but in my 7th house.
