Hi Tim!!!

I am not Girl from Jupiter, but I am taking the liberty to thank you for your post, because it gave light to the solar return mystery :)...it shed some light to my solar return too, since we have almost identical charts!

Tim, I would like to ask you a few questions on how to interpret the solar return chart or at least understand it. OK warning! Ignorant's questions are about to follow :o:

I was wondering...if you have aspects between your SR chart and your natal planets, how you have to interpret them? As transits or as "events" that will occur during the year...or even as "areas" that you will focus during that period? Or both  ?
What about houses' overlays between the natal and the SR chart? How important are they?

I know too many and too general questions...but forgive me I am new at this :o :o!

Thank you in advance for your time and your patience to read my questions:)!

Talibr,

You asked:
if you have aspects between your SR chart and your natal planets, how you have to interpret them? As transits or as "events" that will occur during the year...or even as "areas" that you will focus during that period? Or both ?

Aspects between the Solar Return chart and natal planets are shown in a Transit chart (not a Solar Return chart). The only overlays I look at in this transit chart are where the Solar Return Ascendant and the Solar Return Midheaven fall in the birth chart. The position of the Solar Return Ascendant indicates a personal focus for that year. The position of the Solar Return Midheaven indicates what the outer world focuses are for that year. Again, this indicates a general pattern to the year. In order to see the details of the year, look at the planets in the Transit chart and how they are aspecting the birth planets.

Turning and returning,

Tim

Thank you Tim for answering my questions!!!!:)

The position of the Solar Return Ascendant indicates a personal focus for that year. The position of the Solar Return Midheaven indicates what the outer world focuses are for that year.

This makes a lot of sense because it gives, as you said, just a general pattern for the focal areas of the year ahead...
Now, it doesn't look so scary :)!
