Can Anyone Help?

Hi all,

I was wondering if anyone could tell me how I can bring up the astrodienst charts upon the threads, in order to save simply typing the data. I have tried to use cut and paste but this does not work. I know that there are people out there who know how to do this, and despite asking, no-one has yet explained to me how I might do this. I feel others might also benefit from knowing how to do this as well, and it might make things a bit easier to simply look at the charts on the thread when a question is asked. I am not exactly a computer whizz, and I would really appreciate it if anyone could help me with this.

I'm the last person that should be trying to give instructions about how to do anything with computers :roll: but I know how frustrating it is to want to do something and not know how. Did you see my frantic cry for help cause I can no longer even change anything in my Profile? Sad but true....

Anyway here's what I'd suggest. Scan the natal chart or whatever image into your PC, then use a place like Image Shack or Photobucket to 'host' all the images that you want. Then here when posting, you click the 'Img' button above and enter the http:// code in the middle, and then click the 'Img' button at the end of what you've typed in. So it looks sort of like this in your post.....

http://img what ever I want /8352/ gif.

and this should show your natal chart that's at one of these Image Hosting sites. Hope that made sense? I use Image Shack so here's a link to them. It's free as I think most all of them are.

Yeah, sure ! Many thanks for your request!

I added a "mod" to this forum which does just that. When replying to this message or any other, you will notice right away the uploading box using ImageShack.

In order to display in your post a chart from astro.com, or any other image, just make sure it is saved in your computer, then select it (click Browse), and click "Host it". The image file will be uploaded to ImageShack at once. Then, copy the URL (select and right click & Copy or Ctrl-C), return to your message and insert your image: click the Img button once, paste the URL, click the Img button again.

That's it.

I'm testing this right now, displaying a random picture from my computer.
