patterns in charts of past and current relationships

Wondering if this is unusual:

Except for one relationship in my life (because I can't remember his birthday to check the chart), every relationship I have had shows my Moon opposed their Pluto and my Venus opposed their Pluto. I found that after looking at the charts of 5 different men who were significant in my life.

Is this unusual and how do you break this kind of pattern?! Can't say any of them were successful either, but I seem to keep doing it! It is like they strike me like lightning and I just can't remove myself from them.

without knowing what your chart looks like,but knowing you have pluto aspects to your beaus.i would guess that you have a afflicted venus or moon to your natal pluto.since you are attracted to these type of guys,you might have a saturn/pluto affliction.
this means that you were dominated and possibly emotional abuse by your father figure.hence you are drawn to guys that recreate this opressive atmosphe.if you have a pluto/saturn affliction.this can affect your self esteem,again being drawn to guys that reinforce this negative attitude in you.just guess work with no chart.

You just answered your own question. They strike you like lightning because your Venus and Moon are opposite their Pluto. Its a karmic effect. Something about them strikes you at a very deep karmic level. If they did not have Pluto or Uranus opposite or square your Moon or Venus, they wouldn't strike you at all. What sign is on your 7th house cusp? What aspects the ruler of this house? That will answer what type of people you are attracted to, which in your case, is apparently people who strike you like lightning. I can relate to that (scorpio on 7th house cusp, Pluto/Mars conjunct and square the sun).

In my natal chart, I do have my moon opposing Pluto and my Venus opposing Pluto. Hmmmm.

I also posted about this saturn aspect, but with my current potential guy, we not only have my moon and venus opposing his Pluto (as in my natal) but we also have a composite Sun Semi-square Saturn and both of our natal charts have a sun semi-square saturn. How unusual is it, then, for synastry to mirror your natal chart in significant aspects and is this particularly favorable or unfavorable? I am still in the learning process, so I am still finding new wild correlations. Thanks for the advice, I did not even think to see if my natal mirrored any of these aspects.

I had similar patterns in my relationships. Obviously I am a Gemini (May 30, 1972). All the long-term or significant men in my life have been Cancers. Three of them had the exact same birthdate ---July 22nd (although not the same year). The latest one to cause me angst has the birthdate July 15.

You will have to speak to me in layman's terms ---- although I have done some reading and check my horoscope regularly, I am no expert in charts and the more complicated aspects of astrology.

Any help/comments would be greatly appreciated! I haven't gotten any real answers from any other site's chat rooms.

P.S. I should also mention that my best friend's birthday is July 19th. Evidently I am drawn to Cancers!

Perhaps GemGurlII you have planets in Cancer like Venus or Mars and your partners as well had planets in gemini...perhaps a 7th house cusp in Cancer...I am just guessing :)!
Have you ever tried to cast your chart? Or at least find out your natal data?

As for the thread's topic....My 7th house cusp is in Aries and my vertex in Aries too, so "mysteriously" :D the men in my life usually had their venus there...in opposition to my Pluto in Libra...

This is an interesting thread. I was shocked to find out that I'm attracted to guys with the same moon sign as myself. Now granted, I've only been in 4 relationships in the last 18 yrs, but each one had the same moon as I do.
