Pluto squaring moon and venus

I have recently been told by an astrologer that my Venus is less than a degree earlier than my Moon, so I have been going through a transiting Pluto square to my Venus and moon. Both transits began in January and February of 2007. Because Pluto retrograded since then, the aspect "begins again" in November and December.

In my case, the Pluto-Moon transit will last until September 2008. The Pluto-Venus transit is finishing now.

Is it common for people to have Pluto squaring their venus and moon at the same time? I understand Pluto squaring the moon is extremely emotionally difficult and my year has been horrifically painful in terms of relationships and transformation has been like dying inside. It is just awful. I am wondering if it is more intese because of pluto squaring both planets.

Also, are any relationships you start during this kind of transit time doomed? I had one important one end and met someone new this summer, but wondering if this person is just more learning experience and eventual agony or does it have possibility. I am almost afraid to pursue anything because it has been such a rough time!

Interesting! Are you finding upheaval in the area of your relationships? I have found tremendous upheaveal in that area coupled with crippling emotional trauma from it - it feels completely uncontrollable and outside of myself. I am normally a very stable and easy going person - strong and able to handle challenges. I have very little emotional baggage. But this year I have found myself to be just a highly sensitive mess and plumbing the depths of my soul. It has been a wild ride and most of it triggered by relationship issues.

I did not find out about the transit until June of this year (I was already in the middle of it). The oddness of what I was going through made me decide to go have my chart looked at for the first time in many years. I was astounded to find these transits happening and have it make so much sense. It renewed my interest in astrology completely.

The more I am researching, I am finding out about the Pluto transits but I have not seen anyone mention Pluto squaring both moon and Venus at the same time. Wondering if it is unusual.

Well, from what I wrote, that has been my experience with this transit and it was all without my knowledge of what was happening until 1/2 way through. It has been the toughest time in my life this far.

The research I have done since finding out about Pluto transits - that they are major life lessons and a getting rid of that which is no longer of use to you - made me realize that you can not fight it. The harder you fight whatever happens, the harder it gets.

And maybe having a good therapist on hand to help you thorough it....

Moon Venus can be about hormonal disturbances for women when Pluto gets into the mix. I wouldn't necessarily be concerned with relationship 'problems' however it does suggest that there will be some intensity in relationships or attachments you have with others. Jupiter is currently conjunct Pluto too so at least, there is a potential for feelings emerging which may or may not sit with your ususal sense of decorum in relations.

Moon conjunct Venus loves to do things perfect. I cannot say much more without looking at the chart.

Waspdc- I am going through this transit(Pluto sq.Venus) right now and have had Pluto in my 5th for the past few years. It has been a very bumpy ride, but I have learned alot.There seems to have been a very fated quality associated with the people I have met.Very intense at times. I have definately spent more time thinking about what I want and don't want in a relationship. Yes, I hear that I shouldn't start any new relationships til this transit is well over-which will be in 2009. Yeah, right! I am feeling very cautious right now and will be very selective about who I choose to go out with in the future. Hopefully this will help things, but if the universe feels like throwing another curve ball, well then I guess I have no choice in the matter.:rolleyes:

Yay, I will be joining the club, Pluto moving into capricorn will be sq my venus soon too. Trouble is, Venus is my asc ruler. I am already broke as hell so maybe that will mean I will lose weight with an enforced diet?

I haven't had a pluto transit for some time, not sure whether I am ready for it; one never is absolutely ready however perhaps prepared enough for the next change.

There is nothing unusual about Moon conjunct Venus. It happens once a month, since the Moon ngoes through all the signs monthly.

But most of us will die before Pluto (in transit) squares everything in our charts. :)

Well, I don't think something would happen for me *immediately*, but something of note would be the fact that I have a Natal Venus Opposition Natal PLuto, which both square my Natal Saturn. In a few years, it'll create a grand cross of some sort, with transiting Pluto opposing natal Saturn, and both planets Squaring Venus and Natal Pluto at the same time!!!

I think something *may* happen, but who knows!

Normally an event occurs on the first hit. This is usually something new.
like maybe some new neighbours move in (moon) and some issues may evolve with them over the transit.
Or you may start a new relationship or meet someone who has a Scorpio signature & you may be VERY attracted to them (Venus)
THe issues will tend to come to the fore with each retrograde & direct hit
The final hit will show some outcome.
An example for my cousin who had a Pluto Moon was that he really started to question his relationship which was a bit dynfunctional (lots of arguing).
So the event came from within him first hit
Then on the next hit he moved out from his partner and broke it off
The next hit he attempted reconcilliation
The final hit he realised the relationship was not good for him & permanently terminated it and found a lot of positive changes had occured in him
He is pretty evolved tho (IMO) and really self questioning and sees good in people first.
But Pluto wanted him to realise sometimes you just cant extract good from something which doesnt have it

Tik: If my memory serves me correctly you *rectified* your own birth chart...Maybe you got it wrong and thats why you claim *nothing happens* when important transits occur....I notice you've made this claim about transits *not working* before.....
They work for me- but then again I have an accurate,factual birth time, and I keep a journal ( astrological).

how wrong can you be with pluto/venus? .. venus does not move hardly at all! AND on top of all, Pluto on Venus may not bring anything at all because there was not enough transits to support it. The formula for transits and progression i have, nothing was supposed to happen. i rather overestimate the situation than underestimate. When Saturn was on my Venus with a square all hell broke loose but then all my other planets got activated by other planets. Everything flipped upside down. My Saturn return didnt bring anything either so it is more amusing! Let's see what uranus will pull once it got opposition with Venus. Jupiter on IC brought an event, my neice moved in with me.

pluto on sun, pluto on moon, pluto on ic - produced major events .. Pluto on the moon was the hardest to hit.

Saturn on Asce/MH/IC were actually accurate transit.. I resolved one major issue which triggered Neptune to leave its influence out of my sun/moon/ic

all events were on target. Now, it will be itneresting to see what pluto will bring with its opposition to mars, ruler of my 9th. I feel its energy but nothing is doing on just yet

i dont see how rectification was done wrong.. btw, SA Asce about to hit my Venus late this year. Let's see what happens esp with uranus on venus and moon squaring venus coming up. transit Neptune is crawling towards my desc as we speak

Uranus on desc brought my hollywood marriage. lol.. i predicted the divorce before i was married

1 transit will not bring things to an event. So for 3 years i am supposed to be going through the same transit? obviously not! it must be backed up by progressions, other transiting planets aspecting the same planet and ohh yeah eclipses must be aspecting it. in my case, last eclipse was aspecting venus, pluto was still within an orb of its effect. What happend? nothing earthshattering but i met the people who i never imagined I would meet! Other than that, nothing much

Pluto last conjuncted 24 virgo in 1969.....6 years before you were born....so you havent as yet experienced pluto conjunct your venus....pluto was square however to your venus in late january 05-mars conjoined it...
pluto crossed through your scorpio stellium through 1984-5- when you were about 9....nothing went on in your life then? It travelled through your third house so maybe your mental processes underwent a transformation?Or your siblings experienced events....
Uranus wont oppose your venus til late jan 2010, by which time pluto will be sextile to your natal uranus- speaking of sudden surprises...I believe this falls across your H2 H8 axis....something should happen then,as mars goes through your twelfth and squares your sun.
As your venus is unaspected natally (other than a sextile to the node) it should theoretically be easier to observe transits to it.
Pluto square moon is very hard for most people both natally and by transit....and pluto square venus....well it seems to play out in obsessive love matters and financial manipulation.....

When I mentioned about siblings, you said you had none but earlier in the thread you mentioned your niece moved in...when tr.jupiter crossed your IC....i thought nieces were the offspring of ones siblings....so represented in a natal by cusp of h8 (fifth from the third-derived houses)..just wondering why it manifested in h4?

i was adopted at 2 weeks old so i have absolutely no clue what time i was born nor time of the day. 4th house in adoptees is often either pisces or nepune ...! i have no siblings. She is my mom's sister's granddaughter, which makes her my neice just not by blood. so someone moving in is very jupiter 4th house.
