Are composites with unknown birth time very revealing?

You should be able to rectify the other person's chart close enough, at least to within an hour, I would think. I didn't know my ex-wife's exact birth time, we only had "late at night, probably after midnight". I obviously knew her well enough to be able to move the ASC and houses around until I thought I was pretty close to the actual birthtime. Later on I used a rectification program and it came up with the same result. From there, your composite should be good enough for you to time events, etc. Worked for me.
