Hello
I was wondering if anyone can help me with this horary.
I have a friend who is going away, I was wondering when I will hear from him again.

When will I hear from him again?

I think I am Mercury, the Ascendant is Gemini, and he is Neptune, or is he Jupiter? If he is Neptune then there will be a sextile between Mercury and Neptune in 10 degrees. How long is that?
But if he is Jupiter then there is no aspect at all. Does this mean I will never hear from him again?
Or can I look at the Moon which will trine Jupiter in 4 degrees? And again, how do I know how long 4 degrees is?
I am very confused, but I see that some people like to know the answer to the questions so I will try to help you all by posting it when I know it.
Thank you so much for your help.

Seph,

The ASC is at 28:39 Gemini. This is a very late degree. This means that you already know the answer to your question, you're testing horary or it's too late to answer.

Sorry.

Hi
My question was very serious. All I was told was I would get an email some time, and I wanted to know when. I honestly have no idea when this is likely to be, so it is not too late, and I certainly don't know the answer.

I know it is possible to answer questions like this as I have a friend who does horary, she is always asking horaries for when things she has ordered will arrive, or when repairmen will turn up. So I thought I'd do the same here, it is a genuine question. She is away for Christmas or I'd have asked her for help.

My other thought on the chart was the perhaps my friend is all the planets in the 11th house, not just the ruler, so that would make him Mars, and as the Moon is also me, then there is an applying aspect of just about 2 degrees. Perhaps I will hear from him in about 2 weeks time. 2 days' time from the date of the horary is past now.

Anyway, I will let you all know, and thank you very much for looking at the horary for me.

Maybe it's too late to answer then? Could you be asking the question the wrong way or describing the situation inaccurately? Let's take a look at the chart anyway.

The ASC is in Gemini so you're signified by Mercury in Sagittarius in the 6th House. This is a bad placement for Mecury. It is essentially dibilitated by being in its sign of detriment and accidently debilitated by being in a cadent house. It's essentially dignified by face, but the influence is not strong enough. The Moon is in Cancer in the 1st house, co-signifying you and the question in general. The Moon is both essentially and accidently dignified by being in its sign and in an angular house. Also, it is not void of course, applying to a trine with Mercury.

The cusp of the 11th house is in Pisces. So, your friend is signified by Jupiter in Scoprio in the 6th house. I know it appears to be in the 5th house, but it is located less than 5 degrees away from the cusp of the 6ths which makes it technically in the 6th. Jupiter seems peregrine to me.

In my opinion, the chart is so far describing the situation since your significator is the natural ruler of communication (which is what you're interested in) and his significator is Jupiter, the lord of traveling (which is what he's doing). They're both placed in the worried, insecure 6th house.

I believe the placements in the 11th house describe the condition of your friend, but do not signify him. Mars is technically in the 12the house leaving the North Node alone in the 11th house. I don't know if this placement of the North Node means anything in particular, but it is on the same degree as Jupiter which is not good for Jupiter.

There's no applying aspect between Mercury and Jupiter, but there is translation of light between the two from Saturn. Saturn is in retrograde motion and is located in a sign of detriment and a cadent house, another very week placement.

The translation of light shows that your friend will eventually get in touch with you. But all the main significators of the query are weak and placed in cadent houses. I believe that this means it'll be a long time before you hear from him again, but it will eventually happen. You're question should be asked again after 6 months or so if you hadn't heard from him by that time.

I'm done here. Please keep in mind that this interpretation was made with a very late ASC. This may cause a lot of inaccuracy.

I hope it's inaccurate and that your friend will stay in touch :)

I thought you might like to know I got an email this morning. About 10.00 AM GMT for anyone who is interested. I certainly wasn't expecting one so soon, but it appears to be the Moon applying to Jupiter? I can't see anything else, although I think there is a prohibition by Mars. This is something I find confusing, I am not totally sure, I haven't found a website that explains it very well, but presumably that would mean the Moon-Jupiter aspect doesn't have an effect?
I was using Regiomontanus houses, which puts both Mars and Jupiter well within the 5th and 11th houses, they're about 8 degrees from the cusp I believe, although I don't have the chart with me at present.
Thanks for your help anyway.

Well, then I was right the first time. He told you you'd get an email and you got an email. You had the answer, you just weren't sure. :)

Hi
well, my original question was not "will I hear from him again?", but "when will I?", because he had said that at some undetermined time he would contact me. I wanted to know when, hence the horary, the apparant lack of aspects between Mercury and Neptune, and the aspect between Mercury and Jupiter then confused me. I didn't know which to use, but I see now it should have been Jupiter.

Also I don't like to assume I would get an email just because I was told it would be the case - there is always the possibility of him being killed in an accident for example and so preventing me ever getting one. Presumably the horary woudl have indicated that if it was to be the case though. I will have to do more practise in horary from now on I think :-)

Thanks for looking at it anyway.
