Sibling Rivalry wil it ever be resolved?

My sister and I have whay you might call a difficult relationship. We don't really like each other very much. My concern is that this will continue throughout ourlives. She seems to hold so much in. I would not like to say that she's jealous of me because i don't think that's so. so i would like to know what it is that keeps us apart. In my family, relationships were very disposable. So, will we ever have a flexable sisterly bond? should i just breakfree from her and does this young woman like me?


Does anyone else have this problem? was it resolved?

Yes I believe this sort of thing can be resolved. It proved possible in my case after many years. You do seem to have a strong family emphasis in your chart. It is quite normal for siblings to be competitive with each other, even dislike one another. I take your sister to be the 3rd house traditional ruler Mars. Mars in Scorpio is in rulership so there would seem to be a strong and wilful description of Sibling relations.

Things are rarely unresolvable if two people genuinely talk. She's the scorp ascendant? perhaps she's jealous of you. Either way, you two need to TALK. The key is communication, something she seems to be a little wary of (Saturn in Gem in your 11th?). She doesn't want to tell you what the problem is, and even if she does she'll probably blow up on you over it trying to make you feel guilty? ANyway, to be calm...elaborate..communicate. This is your solution, if she's not willing to do that it will be very hard between you two..

Hi!

I have the same problem with my sis! She´s a Aquarius Sun, Scorpio ASC with Uranus Conj ASC and square sun. She is very agressive, at times even very violent. I used to fight so much and I thought that the problem were both attitude hers and mine. I have Mars in Libra in the 3rd house, Gemini and Moon rising.
And after a few years of doing therapy I learned how to treat her, but also I´ve found out that she has and issue with anger that she MUST work.
So what I´m trying to say is that to make a relationship work out, you BOTH need to put your effort equally in order to improve it.

They all strike a cord. I'm happy also for those whom have managed to find balance in there situations.

i'm sensing she has no respect for me and that is because she was spoilt as a child. she really is the most miserable person I have ever met.


tim you really made sense and i do need to take better care of myself and move on into my future.
