Hi River, did you ever do a relocalization? you can put venus at the ascendant and quit mars from VIII , and quit the moon of XII. But you have to be sure of the time of your birth. I generally travelled at my birthday for a better place. the best Atria

We change location at the time of the return, some days, our teacher taught us how to do that, i was amazed, it was at 1997, many of us did this to improve some things or to avoid anothers, we are studying this, and what this changes indicate, and what this map at the new place indicates that is what it happens, we corroborate with our experiences, the past solar i travel to Florianopolis at Brazil, this year i ll travel to mexico, i dont like my solar at any place, but i think it is better in Mexico than at Buenos Aires where i lived, i ll put venus at the ascendant, we dont leave algol at any cuspids too, algol is easy to quit from the cuspids, better is to move to search benefits that is more pleasant. The aspects between the planets are fix but we can move the circle, and the planets moves from houses. I will search his article. What books did you read of solars, did you read Volguine?

Solar Returns are backdrops. You may scarcely notice them.
I think they come into the foreground around the birthday but are overshadowed by transits
Transits of outer planets you will notice the most especially the first (event comes in) and the last (resolution in some way).
Progressions hang around for ages and form a backdrop which can influence how transits play out. For instance if you having a really difficult square or opposition with an outer but you have a trine progression to that planet being transited - you wil still fell the transit the same - but you may find inner resouces to turn the transit issue into a positive outcome.

Hello River, at the other place: Astrology and Psicologhy you ask for that terrible time and if i understood well you referred to the solar return of 2005, that is correct?, i asked where did you stay at that precise moment, to analize the solar return, to verificate if it was that cosmic square, the implications of that cosmic square has to be promediated with the natal chart, there are natal charts that are so good , that at solar return the bad indications arent been noticed. we corroborate that they are very significant and congruent with the events in that time for better or for worst.
I forgot to recommended the article of Morin de VIllefranche , famous for his important predictions, and for his brillant mind he was a great mathematician .
He wrote about his life and the stars, and there (without knowing the existence of the trans-saturnines) he analized so well his solars and lunar returns at "My life with the stars", extract from Astrologia Gallica, i have it in spanish, it is in french, i am going to search if it is in english
The solar return has to be promediated with the natal chart, if someone has an auspicious natal chart with plenty of good stars, indications, good aspects, good conjunctions etc, a regular or bad solar return will be more benign , than another one that at the natal chart are a lot of bad aspects and planets in bad cosmic state, has malefics with bad aspects. This has to be studied very profoundly. I know is very difficult with our psycologhy to give a solar the aproppiate mesure, not to make bigger the regular or bad indications , is a tendency that we have to avoid it, but we need to learn be objective. It is very difficult for me look at the solars of my husband and sons, mine too of course. I had one at 1999 very ugly , there was no place to avoid the bad indicactions, i travelled very near only to quit one bad indication, I had an accident of electrocutation and my daughter saved my life, only an injury at my column, not serious.The best Atria
