View Full Version : Was it just my imagination?

I swear, I thought there was a topic somewhere on the site about the Pluto in Leo generation. If there was, it has completely winked off of this dimension—sort of like my correction of my interpretation of Sore's chart, which I know I did because I emphasized the type of all the Uranus factors in it to make clear that I had corrected the Neptune insertion mistake.

Maybe someone in some other universe has been plying me with pagalactic gargleblasters and not informing me of it. (If i'm going to get drunk, I really want to know about it.) Strange, crazy days...

Anyway, there is a column in the local paper here called "Your 2¢ Worth." There was a quote in there that made me think about the Pluto in Leo generation. It read:

Why do people wonder why there are so many people in eating-disorder clinics when we have stores named 1-3-5? I'm a proud plus size.

Now have you noticed how like children the women that can wear size 0-7 look? Most have no breasts to speak of and very few womanly curves. They look very pre-pubescent, just about to need a training bra.

Now it isn't strange that a generation that is fixed on youth tries to make its women look like children and anyone who is larger than a size 12 Misses a "plus size." The Pluto in Leo generation may have a fear complex of making the transition from childhood to adulthood and its fixation on unhealthy body sizes that are made the "ideal" so the Pluto in Leo generation doesn't have to grow up.

Once again, as always, Peter Pan.

My 2¢ worth...

Elianah,

I've experienced the same thing many times here too. Spent half an hour searching for a thread I posted on the day before, but couldn't find it to save my soul! It's on the Karmic Astrology forum.....Pluto in Leo Generation.

And the clothing sizes just keep getting smaller and smaller it seems. Even the teen sizes have shrunk down to near child size. It's all so crazy and distorted.

Elianah,

You mentioned dissappearing threads, and I have noticed this also. I haven't been on here in a while and I have noticed several threads have gone. Perhaps there is some clearing up to do from time to time in order to save space. It can be a little frustrating though if you're looking for something specific.

All

I haven't noticed topics go missing, but they do tend to go walkabout and end up on different boards. I wish they'd leave signposts>

I totally agree with you about the skrinking clothes, though. I'm not counting the shrinking-in-the-wardrobe syndrome, but the shrinking in the shops before you even get to them!! Have you noticed they're funny shapes, too? You have to go up several sizes to get the bits to fit in the places where the bits are supposed to go? Thank heavens for low waisted fashion right now - I don't need to have a waistband around my neck to get my hips in the right places!! Clothes are not designed to be worn by humans, methinks  they designed for androgynous robots who all want to look the same! The kids clothes are shrinking, too. And becoming more adult-like. And the more adult like they become, the more lollipop adults seem to be wearing them. Although, I'm not ready for the blue cauliflower permed rinse and the crimpelene yet! Don't let me to that stage, please!!!

Under height and waering purple!

take care

Hehehe  .. I'm not the only Neptune struck person around here. Or maybe Mercury is not out of the Rx zone yet :D

Anyway...

Elianah,

The thread you are looking for is called An article by Henny Ruckert and you can find it in the Mundane Astrology forum.

And yes! Clothes are shrinking and I don't know where to go to buy nice Pluto-in-Libra clothes anymore.

Thanks all!

It was the Pluto in Leo Generation topic I was looking for and couldn't find the other day. Thanks Lapis :D.

I think my repost to Sore on her Uranus configuration probably got caught up in the November crash of the US server. I don't mind rewriting when it is totally my screwup  , but it annoys me to rewrite a rewrite because of server malfunction. Aren't computer systems wonderful?!

I think I figured out what happened to that first post to sorehearted.

There are times when in a middle of a post I feel the need to pause and return to the writing later because something relevant to the post has started gestating and I need to give it room to develop and birth.

Of course, this might mean a few hours to overnight in some cases.

If I remain off-line long enough, the site automatically logs me out. If I then return to the post I am working on and finish it, if I don't log in on a different screen before posting the message, the message goes *POOF* and isn't posted. Of course, I can always hit the back button on my browser to get the message back, which I routinely do now.

I think with my response to sore, I assumed that after I had logged in the message was posted. It wasn't and that is how the post went flying into another dimension.

Live and learn. :D
