Hi Folks,

Here is an interesting story that appears in the Seattle Times.

http://seattletimes.nwsource.com/html/localnews/2003963476_velazquez20m.html

Venus Velasquez has been running for Seattle City Council. True to her name, this woman is ultra feminine, attractive, and a young married mother. She is also a bit hot headed and a bit stubborn.

She was recently at a campaign event where she had two drinks. She drove home under the influence and was arrested and slapped with a DWI. She is 41 years old so she is definately from the Pluto in Virgo generation. I am not sure about her Saturn, but I would guess that it is in Pisces, since she is only 2 years younger than I am.

I am not familiar with her natal chart, but I am guessing that her Mars is in Pisces and that she just experienced a T Sat opp N Mars transit. I say Mars, because a speeding car was involved. Saturn would represent authority and getting arrested.

I know someone else with a Mars at 0 degrees Pisces and when T Saturn opposed her Mars, she also got drunk. And this woman does not usually drink. So there is something to be said about Sat Virgo opp Mars in Pisces and alcohol consumption. This woman however, did not act wrecklessly.

What comments would you like to make about this event? I do not think that it is a coincidence that her name is Venus because she really embodies that planet.

I seriously doubt that she will win the election. Her DWI has received both newspaper and public radio coverage. And people in Seattle have grown tired of political candidates misbehaving.

peace,

Try to find out her birth date. then you won't have to guess.
Usually being arrested, in a chart, will be shown by many negative aspects.

Greetings !

I also wrote this in a post in this site called: Alcoholism

----------

The astodatabank site has information about research done on Alcoholism and using a control group. Very interesting stuff.

There are 4 parts. Here is the link to the first part.

http://www.astrodatabank.com/AS/ASAlcoholism1.htm

Here is some brief info from the site:

The top factor that was found in the study was:
Sun or moon squ, opp, semi-squ, inca nd sesqui Mars, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, Pluto.

Also check the persons for tendencies to overindulge by looking at Jupiter.

Also a powerful but negetive Neptune can see and deal effectively with the truth but it is a painful struggle often met with indifference.

Best Regards,
