Sent this posting, inadvertently, to the wrong forum-- and received a definite-- what does this have to do with THIS forum, so hope one of YOU can help me.

Took this astro test to see which sign was best suited for me. The first time I took it--months ago--it said one sign was a good match. The next time I took it just recently, I must have answered the questions differently because it said something else. The results of this most recent test said the best match for me was a sign which--although my sun sign is suppose to be compatible with, I often find people under this sign annoying.

My question: Can someone want two different types of men at the same time? It feels that way to me sometimes. Sometimes I feel like I want one thing in a man, but then I want the total opposite! It even seems like three different types-- the third man is who I am attracted to when I meet, but the other two types I fantasize about. What exactly do you look at in a chart that tells you your TRUE desires in what you wish in the opposite sex? Not just who you may even be merely attracted to, or even who you THINK you want in a man? Does my ambivalence stem from the fact that my Venus is in opposition to my Moon? If when looking for someone, should I look for that person's planets or houses to have compatible planets or signs in specific houses or planets in my chart? Let's say you tell me that it is one's moon sign which represens one's deepest desires; should I then look at another persons moon sign being compatible with my moon sign or compatible with some other planet in my chart?

Sometimes I think Indian parents are correct when they choose spouses for their children, they look at how compatible the two will be, not whether they will be attracted to one another. Our desires can fool us.

Hi Maries, yes, the Moon sign is one of the most important things to look at in a comparison. If your Moon sign should not be compatible with the other persons Moon sign, than it does not matter how good other aspects are, in the end one partner will not feel comfortable with the other, even after YEARS of marriage, it will emerge. So Moons are super important, as well as Venus (way how you express your lovefeelings), I would say. Look at the ruler of your 5th house and the placement of Mars and Sun in your chart. They together should more or less show what sort of a man you would like to have. Your 7th shows probably the type of man you could marry, not necessarily the man that would really be your dream man. If 5 and 7 are similar, then you are lucky. Often the man you crave for is not marriage material (hugely attractive but a terrible womanizer, so even though you love that type of mân, you know very well you should not marry that type of person).
