EDo people use Fixed Stars in their charts when looking at Secondary Progressed and Solar Arc charts?

Fixed Stars and their effects are only to be read on natal charts, with orbs of up to 2 degrees for the stars of highest magnitude. I have seen Algol affecting in a square aspect to a natal planet, even if it's said that only the opposition and conjunction are the aspects to consider when reading them.
A transit, progression or arc can only activate a conjunction or opposition already existent on the natal horoscope.

Last night I looked to see weather there was a correlation in planets passing Algol when I was growing up. I did not see any as I have Sun 22Tau and Algol was at 25.
I am still studying the start theough to see how others worked with it in their chart.
I think I have seen the Square aspect work in the chart of people also.
I shall do very detailed research on it over the next year.

I have not seen any example of a square to Algol working, although the conjunction to any planet Algol is decidedly evil. Regulus, another very powerful star is at 29 Leo and in square so it may account for these observations, although Regulus is generally considered benefic. Perhaps you could be more specific on your observation.

I think most of the authorities would not consider your Sun in conjunction to Algol, as three degrees is just a bit wide, even though it is a 1st magnitude star. Also, my experience is that you must consider the latitude of Fixed Stars and those at extreme latitudes generally are much less powerful regardless of magnitude.

I have seen a few cases where Algol Square may have played a part in Killers charts, but they are few.
As far as Orb I do not see anything more then 1.5-2.0 being cause to qestion about effect.
The Royal Stars conjunct angles in the Natal will have their effect.
I do not have Brady's book on Fixed stars ,but think that much can be re-written as to the effects of the stars. We do not live in the age of seafairers(?) and sailors as much today.
SIRIUS is one star besides Algol which has my attention as it seems to be a get of Jail card for OJ and those having it prominent seem to have something like 9Lives.
On Algol it can a Star of misfortune, but also the star that gives fortune out of tradgedy if placed right.
I still wonder what effect Sirius has when a planets\Angles conjunct it through Progressions.
The worst case of Algol would be Gacey's chart for having it at a Midpoint twee 2 close conjunct planets close to the 7th.
