View Full Version : What do you think of this pairing?
Hi there,
I was reflecting on an old relationship, and while I know in mundane terms why things went south, I always wondered what the stars said about the two of us. We always knew we were "soul mates," and had a very instant, close bond as friends with some intimacy. once things got "too serious" things sort of got sour. We still remain friends to this day.
My guess off that bat, with my limited astro-knowledge, would be that her sun falls in my 7th house, while mine falls in her 12th---she may see me as "fated" to be with her, like have a karmic tie? While I may see her more as a friend, and as a window into a new world (Jupiter in Pisces). She did, in fact, teach me a great deal and we made excellent traveling partners.
Anyway, I was wondering if anyone here had additional insight. Here are the charts...
the composite chart shows a saturn/mars conjunction which ,to me ,indicates that you became too domineering ,controlling and possessive after the intial rush.with a uranus/moon conjunction ,you intially projected a expansive ,and liberal emotional perspective but into to the relationship ,you became more or less tyrannical.her uranus trine mercury was attracted to your progressive emotional stance, but the appearance of you dominant ego urges made her reconsider,as she is exceptionally intuitive as you are.
the composite also has a neptune square to venus with inidicates that there may have been a issue with exclusiveness.
the sun conjunct chiron indicates that the smallest contradictions in the relationship would not be tolerated, and small differences could quickly enlarge and threaten the relationship.

That sounds a lot like us! Interesting how it seems most of the problems were my doing, at least according to your analysis.
I'm still curious as to what made our bond so strong over all the years. Was I onto something with my observations about the 12th and 7th house?
the karmic question is difficult to comment on.
but the continued friendship could be a function of the venus/jupiter conjunction in the composite,as this indicates that you two got along very well together.this aspect shows affection but also a overall enjoyment of each others company.
and with juno trine to mars indicates that there is a "familial" concern for each other.
i may be putting to much emphacize on you domineering nature as the uranus trine can soften this aspect but your ego was a part of the tension.

You're right, rahu. I even tell her to this day that I just wasn't ready to take it to the next level, and I was very immature at the time. I did get accepted as "part of the family," since I'd so readily (and easily) taken to her culture and got along so well with her parents.
Thanks again!
