Thanks for the high quality discussion. I am in the midst of an intense Neptune transit over my natal Sun. This has spurred all sorts of things, including the study of astrology. And learning to surf.

Neptune over your Sun, mmmmm, that is a heavy one and it takes ages to get out, but yes, I believe it might indeed have spurred you into the study of Astrology as it is also trining your Uranus and squaring Pluto, ruler of Uranus, very occult indeed! This is good for Uranus because he is intercepted in your 5th house and could have had trouble in expressing itself. The push from Neptune will help here.Nice. Thanks a bunch, Starlink, that is very useful for me. As a student, I'm trying to get to know Uranus. A somewhat difficult task; kind of a distant energy for me right now. A quote that stands out from the Hickey for me has been how Uranus alone acts completely outside of us, through the 'exterior' (to the personality) universe. So when I work from the keyword of revolution, it's difficult to pick. I'll acknowledge that thus far Astrology is a very self-absorbed craft for me, and I think the outer ones interact with different scale levels of human consciousness differently.

But looking back at transit charts for significant days (to my mind, and we know what a limiting factor that is) Uranus is tough to pinpoint. When I think about forces outside (e.g. ex's, or employers/profs) I don't see a connection yet.

But I guess that was your point! Should I step up my intent for Uranian moments? I'm generally having a lot of difficulty with interceptions (and Sco...) but those are other stories.

Hello again NT (let's keep it easy), You must have been born on the 10th of Febr. 1976 if I am not mistaken, somewhere around 3-4 PM. An interesting thing is, that Uranus not only is intercepted in Scorpio, but at that very moment (and the day after) it was Stationary Retrograde, sort of standing still for 2 days. You could have noticed a change when Uranus got out of Scorpio by Solar Arc Direction. That would have been when you were 13 years. Next year Solar Arc Uranus will conjunct your Neptune in the 6th house. Uranus is extremely important in your chart as he is ruler of your Sun, the way you express yourself, your life force. Neptune is ruler of your 10th house of career and social environment. There could be a significant change, either in the career or public life (or your general view of life). You see, I tell you this because SA Uranus conjuncts Neptune, ruler of your Sun and Transiting Neptune is conjunct your natal Sun. A double whammy so to say.
Furthermore, Pluto, ruler of Uranus is squaring your MC. Big changes which could have a great emotional/psychological impact. Interesting! Solar Arc Venus will conjuncting your Sun when you are 32. Nice one. Maybe you will get married or go into partnership with someone.
