Orbs/Aspects of Eclipse

Hi Everyone:

I just recently starting studying eclipses my question is do we just observe the harder aspects such as with solar arcs? What orb of aspects are allowed a friend of mine told me he allows a 6 degree orb so whatever help given is greatly appreciated.

I use only hard aspects (semisquares and sesiquadrates as well as squares and oppositions)

Yeah, 6 degree orb is fine!
