Attached is my chart with transists on 9-4-07. Can anyone tell me what I may be in for and what things might be like when Saturn goes into Virgo, please. I have Saturn in Virgo in my 10th house opposing my natal sun. I know it is suppose to make things a bit harder but I don't know what things.
Any help appreciated very much. ;)

Greetings KayBug
It's not Saturn you should be concerned with at this time, it's Uranus. Around about 2007 September 1, Uranus will be in retrograde conjunction to your natal Sun in the 4th. Can you remember back to April 18 or so, around about the time when the Sun entered Taurus this year? That was the first pass of Uranus conjunct your Sun. Robert Hand describes this transit as "one of the most revolutionary periods in your life" and it's happening in the house that traditionally covers your home, your relationships with your parents and other family members. Changes in this area are extremely upsetting and "signify deep changes in your unconscious mind. Since the unconscious mind has a powerful effect on your view of reality, your whole experience of the world will be quite different after this transit." The third and final transit of Uranus conjunct your natal Sun is on 2008 February 8, when the Sun is in Aquarius, so you might expect a definitive resolution of any 4th house dilemmas from then on.
Uranus is always unexpected, so please don't imagine that your home life and family relationships are destined to fall apart at this time. It is equally possible that you will discover a deep, unconscious and previously unexperienced love for your family and all that you hold dear in the domain of the 4th house. But it will be a significant change, and one that you probably won't have expected. Be open to the possibilities of change, for Uranus is a lovely fella. He's the big brother of Mercury and he only wants to tell you what's best for you. He says it like it is, but on a subconscious level. Welcome him, and hear the truth.
Your second Saturn return is conjunct on 2008 October 7. It's like another cosmic birthday. Can you remember the first in early 1979? This will concretise the changes you make following the third Uranus conjunction of your natal Sun.
One of Saturn's attributes is fear. Do not fear fear. You are in a benign universe. Were it not so, you would not be here. You have incarnated, so you are loved.

sage,
Thank you so very much for this information. I did not know about the Uranus aspects coming up. I am hoping that the changes coming up will be good ones.
My daughter lives with me and things were really going very good between us last fall and this past winter but there has been tension over the past few months. I don't know if this is what it will be affecting among other things family wise but I hope it will all be good. :)
Thank you,

How old is your daughter? She may be at the age when she needs to exercise her independence against parental authority. This would be Uranus in 4th house from your perspective.

sage,
She is 20 yrs old. I know she wants to be independent of me and I would like it that way for her too, but she cannot move from here until she is off probation. We are hoping and expecting that to be in Feb. 08. But even so, she doesn't make enough money on her jobs to rent a craker box to live in and pay utilities, her bills, ect.

My advice at this time would be not to worry. It may seem a long time until next February but it will soon pass. By the time your daughter completes her probation, any number of unusual or unexpected changes may have come to pass offering her the ability to fend for herself and pay her way. She may even encounter people whom you do not approve of, but they may, perhaps temporarily, assist her. I would not wish to further this conjecture without seeing your daughter's chart.
Your chart indicates an unexpected change in the area of the home and family relationships - and the change may be just that: unexpected. You never really expected a beneficial change, did you? Things have been bad for so long, you have forgotten how good times could be. You may also experience the unexpected realisation that your daughter can cope perfectly well without you. "Thanks, Mum, you were great, but I've met this smashing bloke and I really want to set up a home for me and him." She may even have another 'family' of which you were unaware. Without unduly worrying you, this family could consist of peope who like the same music, take the same drugs, think the same philosophy, and vote the same politics. Relax, Mum, you did your best and your kid is at home in her generation's world. You're a success. She loves you. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
As I said in my earlier post, your third and final Uranus conjunction to your natal Sun is on February 8. This would seem to coincide with your daughter coming off probation, providing you with a new freedom from responsibility in the house of family matters. With Uranus conjunct your Sun, the message might be as simple as "Unexpectedly, it's time to forget about my daughter. Now it's time to think about myself." Wouldn't that be unexpected for a mother?

Sage of Aquarius,
You're really quite marvelous! But for those of us who have our Sun in Virgo, what will Saturn's return signify? I have posted this before, I know, but my sense is that, as it rules my fellow Earth Sign, Capricorn, it may not be as bothersome as it was in Leo -- my friend has had a good moan for the last year while Saturn was in Leo!
So what say you, SOA? :) Or anyone? I would really like to know and prepare for the fray!

Hello
I see why you are concerned with your Saturn activity. In addition you also have Saturn conjunct Midheaven, Saturn oppose Mercury and Uranus conjunct your sun. With Uranus try to control your urge to suddenly move, or change family status (such as divorce if you are married). However I also notice that at times when Saturn conjuncts Mh you may receive a job promotion or increased responsiblity that will make you work harder than ever and it could affect your home life and also you may have to relocate for the position. I took a quick glance at your solar return chart and SR Sun in the 6th so I feel it may be your work. SR has a grand trine with Venus, Jupiter and Saturn so you do have some protection there. Keep us posted and hope I was helpful.

sage,
My daughter's probation is actually for 2 yrs and would be up in Feb. 09 BUT her intervention officer ( they decided to go with intervention instead of conviction) said if she does all the things like she is suppose to he would probably end her probation after 1 yr which is the Feb 08. So, no telling which way it will go so either will be a surprise. We are really hoping for Feb 08.
She probably will associate with people I'm not to fond of as she always has. That's what got her in trouble in the 1st place besides making her own bad decisions.
I would really like some new freedom as all this has been a punishment for me too not just her.
I think I was pretty successful and she loves me. :) She just gets tired of me just like I do her sometimes. It's all good just rough sometimes.
Thank you so much for helping me.

erin,
I'm not married. I have been divorced for 13 yrs and that is a road I never intend to go down again. I love being single and if anything even has an inkling of romance in it I put on my running shoes and run like heck. :D
I don't work at public work as I draw disability. I read alot of different horoscope stuff and it always refers to my career. I don't understand that. My career is doing the best I can one day at a time and taking care of my home, yard, cats and my daughter when she needs me. And alot of days that's more than I can handle.
I'm not planning a move as I just moved where I am in July 2005. I'm pretty happy here.
hmmmm.....I'm not sure what to make of all that you said. Thank you for your help.

Hi there Kay! I must say that SageofA. pinpointed it down real well and there is actually little more to add there, especially where Uranus is concerned.
But about Saturn, MC and career I can say that being a housewife is also a career. We WORK dont we??!! even though lots of husbands think otherwise.... The MC does not only stand for your career, but also for your immediate surroundings, your social environment, your outside life opposed to the 4th house of private life. So you can "translate" the word "career" for "social environment" if you like.
Now Saturn has passed that point exactly on the 9th of July and is now well on it's way towards natal Saturn (a Saturn return, very important!).
Today we find Saturn at 10° Virgo so it moved also out of the opposition to your Mercury which shows that a difficult mental process caused by that opposition could just have eased considerably. It can be seen that you have a difficult time behind you. When Saturn conjuncted your MC it also opposed Jupiter, ruler of your 5th house and 2nd house and trined Chiron in your 2nd house of income and selfworth. That could have resulted in great difficulties to express yourself, probably due to a lack of selfconfidence and in financial obligations that were difficult to deal with. So all that has eased now.
Nevertheless, Uranus is going to stirr things up again as Sage wrote and on the 2nd of November, just when Uranus goes retrograde, Saturn opposes Uranus and Sun simultaneously, as well as conjuncting it's own place. Because Saturn is ruler of your 3rd house of siblings as well as mental processes (lower mind), there could be problems in those areas which can make you feel tense (Uranus) and inhibited (Saturn). The Sun is ruler of your 10th house of social environment (in your case) and there could therefore be trouble with neighbors (3rd house). Your natal Saturn lies exactly on the midpoint of Pluto sextile Neptune. This sextile is part of a YOD between Sun, inconjunct Neptune and Pluto, forming a boomerang with your Sun. Yods very often create a sort of constant tension within us, without knowing where that tension comes from. It is like background music, you hear it but you dont know exactly where it comes from. The problem of the Yod is that it often produces undisciplined thinking and the "finger" of the Yod, (your Sun), would usually force you to get into action. The opportunity to act lies in the hand of the two planets sextile to one another, in your case Neptune and Pluto (Ascendant ruler and Sun ruler!!). The Yod deals with 1-6 and 1-8 house involvements which means that you must take personal action (1st house)by examining your mental and physical habit patterns (6th) and your emotional desire pattern (8 house). If changes, adjustments or reorganization are not brought about, you could develop emotional, mental or health problems. These problems can be solved best through psychological understanding (8th house) and knowledge (Virgo/6th house). This Yod plays a very important role in your chart because it involves the Sun and Ascendant Ruler Pluto. Every time a planet transits over one of these three planets, the same or similar problems can arise in your life.
Now transiting Saturn is right in the middle of the sextile between Pluto and Neptune and opposes your Sun as well as conjuncting natal Saturn. This could lead to a blockage of things mentioned above because you want to but are hindered in getting into action. But Saturn is in an Earth sign right now and should be more at ease there than in the fire sign Leo. Saturn could therefore make you more disciplined and able to put things "in place" like a real Virgo can do. You should avoid getting too self critical during this time which is another possibility of Saturn in Virgo, but I do think that it will help the mental (self)discipline function. You have gone through other precarious Saturn transits in your life and probably have been confronted with the same problems, because every time Saturn touches that Sun of yours, whether it be by trine, square or opposition, it re-activates and often intensifies the energies of the YOD again. In 2002 it was square it's own place and your Sun and opposing Chiron. This could have been a difficult time as well. Saturn teaches us things in life and after every difficult passage we are wiser and know better how NOT to make the same mistakes again. So now you get this conjunction and you are sort of warned from last time when Saturn squared your Sun. An opposition has often to do with relationships and finding balance or compromise. All this could come up and this time you will probably know how to handle it better. Neptune rules the 5th house of children and yes, you maybe have to make a choice regarding your daughter, her wishes or your wishes. A YOD often forces you to make choices.
I hope I have shed some light on what could happen during the time that Saturn is teaching you again! He will make you stronger for it! Saturn can make one tired so take lots of rest and think of yourself, spoil yourself as much as you can. Lots of good wishes!! Star.
