Does anyone-- like me-- enjoy speculating on fictional TV, book or movie characters' sun signs? For example-- Scrooge is definitely a Capricorn. But what would be the Little Red Hen's sign who said, "I'd rather do it myself?" I think Archie Bunker is a Taurus (though Carroll O'Connor was actually a Leo). Jean Stapleton is an Aquarious, though I'd guess Edith is a Libra. Michael/Meathead? Aquarious maybe? And what of Gloria? Any guesses?
Anyone watch GILMORE GIRLS? Luke is suppose to be a Scorpio. Do you think the writers chose that for him because they know astrology? He DOES seem to have some of the characteristics of Scorpio. What of Rory? Her birthday's in October which makes her Scorpio or Libra. She does have the likeability and sweetness of a Libra. But would you guess her to be one or another sign? Loralei is either an Aquarious or Aries. Both rebels and freedom loving, but neither is suppose to be compatible with Scorpio. Any suggestions? Anyone care to guess on any other characters' signs?

OH MY GOD! What are we, soul mates?
Go to the thread I started in Astrology Now entitled "This is strictly for fun".

OK. I get it. You all say that each soul does not have a "perfect match"-- a twin soul. I don't believe it, but...
If there is no perfect match, what is the best indication in charts to recognize great compatibility? I heard if one's Venus is in conjunction with the other's Mars (and visa versa) this is a good indicator of compatibility. My Venus is in Taurus and my Mars is in Gemini, so should I look for someone with Mars in Taurus and Venus in Gemini? I am sure there is more to it, but don't know. Sun and moon compatibility? AND-- if the best indication for compatibility IS Venus and Mars conjunction, I'm in trouble because I have heard that people with Gemini Venus cheat and never remain faithful. They are fickle. I could not tolerate that. Is it true or is there more to it? If he has Gemini Venus, but a lot of fixed signs, would it overrule that generalization?

OK. You have to take everything into account, especially the following:
The signs of Sun, Moon and Mercury heavily affect the type of people we get along with.
Mars and Venus affect the kind of person we THINK we want. They are mainly attraction factors.
The 5th house describes our romantic partners.
The 7th house describes our first marriage or first long-term serious commitment.
The 9th house describes our secondmarriage or second long-term serious commitment.
Allow me to introduce... Juno :) Juno is an asteroid. It affects the kind of partner we need and probably will get. Go to astrodient. You can locate your Juno using their extended chart selection section.
Let me give you a brief interpretation of Juno though
Juno in Aries: You need a partner that's on fire. The lazy type ain't for you. Action, action and more action.
Juno in Taurus: You need a stable, predictable partner that you can count on. You'll find a way to deal with their stubborness.
Juno in Gemini: Talkative, witty and clever, that's the type of spouse you need.
Juno in Cancer: You need the nurturing type. Of course anyone can enjoy this kind of motherly attention from their partners, but you need it. You'll enjoy discovering their layers of sensetivity that they hide under their coarse shell.
Juno in Leo: Nope, you can't settle down with the shy type. Fun, creative and expressive is what you need even if you have to deal with some bossiness (ok, a lot.. and a lot of ego too).
Juno in Virgo: You can deal with how critical they get because you know they are your type; hard working and always ready to help.
Juno in Libra: Mmm, the charming, artistic type.. the type that just happens to think of life in terms of balance and pairs if you know what I mean :)
Juno in Scorpio: You need the emotional intensity. You need that raw animal sexuality and magnetism. And you'll love it when they get jealous.
Juno in Sagittarius: Different background is the key word here. You need someone who is different from you. That could be a foreigner or someone with a completely different education maybe (preferably higher with a phylosophical point of view of life)
Juno in Capricorn: Let's get down to business and get things done. You need someone who's structured, effective and efficient.
Juno in Aquarius: Again, different is a keyword, but it's a different kind of different. Rebeliously different could describe the kind of partner you need: different way of thinking, different prespective or even eccentric if this is how they show orginitality.
Juno in Pisces: The starving, humane artist or something to that effect. Sensetive and .. well.. living on the moon! You'll forgive them for anything, even lying which they can do well.
Make sure you also take into account Juno's house placements and aspects.
Hope I've been helpful.

I do the same thing! I don't know if anyone's familiar with the series "Fullmetal alchemist," but I've spent quite a lot of time trying to work out the signs of the characters in that.
I figure Ed's a definite scorpio, with a lot of aries influence. I think Al's a libra, with Taurus and cancer influence. I think Hughes is a combination of sagittarius and aquarius, Roy is a leo, Winry is an aries, and Hawkeye is a capricorn.
Trying to work out character signs is so much fun, especially when you've got friends who are interested both in astrology and in the same series - then you can get into heated debates over what signs people are.

wow Maries, I thought exactly the same thing as you! Luke from Gilmore Girls has to be a Scorpio! And I actually used to think Lorelai was a Taurus or something (I thought her birthday was in late April or early May), but Aries or Aquarius makes more sense. If anyone is interested in soap operas, http://www.acumind.com/ is a good site - just scroll down to where it says "Astrology in the Soap World" , and it talks about the actors, and the astrological charts of their characters (Characters Alive). It totally makes sense that Sonny from General Hospital is a Scorpio, by the way, if anyone knows who I'm talking about. I actually haven't done this in awhile - think of what signs characters could be, but i'm sure i'll start up again because of this!

I Know it's been months since I replied to your speculations on character's sun signs, but here goes...
I can't see Loralei as a Taurus at all (No matter when they say her birthday is suppose to be). She's MUCH too unconventional. Aries, Aquarious, maybe Sagitarious would be my guess. But what of Rory? Libra? What about Christopher? He's independent and unconventional, too. Aries? Aquarious? Sagitarious? Her father is definitely a Capricorn. What about mother Emily? A perfectionist if ever I saw one and a task master. The perfectionism is Virgo, but the ruling the world like a queen seems more like Leo??? What do you think?

Quite an interesting thread y'all got going here! I love Gilmour Girls, I just hardly get to see it.
But on the subject of Mars being the kind of man you attract..... I got a curve ball for you. How come I have Mars in Capricorn, but 90% of the guys I'm attracted to are Cancer or Pisces - mostly Cancer, and a few Aquarius and Sags.

I love Gilmore girls, and especially Rory.
She strikes me as a Virgo though, not Libra...
She comes across as more reserved, and a little less assertive, more delicate.. and pretty perfectionistic. Also, she has an innocent and virginal quality, like a virgo. Maybe her venus is closely conjunct her sun, or that they are planets close to her ascendant (most likely in the 12th house)
From freedomlover:
"I have Mars in Capricorn, but 90% of the guys I'm attracted to are Cancer or Pisces - mostly Cancer, and a few Aquarius and Sags."
I have a Sagittarius mars, but I don't really like Saggis in the romantic sense! They (the males) come across as assertive, frank and in-your-face! But i like the saggi girls (as friends). I think I like the Saggitarius trait, but softened by other aspects - a sagittarian (as of my mars) to me is highly challenging and I like peace! My desc is in cancer, and I'm not attracted to cancer guys either, just that nurturing, caring trait. Basically because cancer makes a square to my sun. So there you go.

I watch Gilmore Girls :D
Lorelai is an Aries, definitely. She was born in April, don't know what date.
And about Rory... Well, here is her chart :D
She's a Libra. I would have said Virgo, but she does have some Librian characteristics. She has Virgo rising. Moon in Pisces? Wouldn't have guessed that.
