New job - turned 10th?

Seeking a bit of advice please?!

In asking a question about getting a new job, if the quesitor is currently in a job and is looking for a new job, does one look at the 10th house for the new job, or the turned 10th house?

I would look at the second 10th (10th of the 10th). I once read a about someone who had to go from one doctor to another (an astrologer). She also took the turned house for the next doctor. I am not totally sure though, but it just feels right to me. Draco could advice here I guess.

Many thanks for the advice! I had that feeling too about the turned 10th house for the 2nd job. If I use the 1st 10th house, its significator is in its own house (the 1st 10th) so that makes sense and its in sextile with my sig.

So if I use the turned 10th for the possible new job, would I place the new Ascendant where the old MC was? I'd be using my original significator.

I personally would not change anything, just keep your own Ascendant and see if the new 10th house ruler makes good aspects with your significator and/or the Moon, your co-significator. You dont change, just the jobsituation changes. Look at your normal 4th house for "the end of the matter" and also look at that significator to see how it aspects the new 10th house significator. Before anything else, see if the chart is interpretable, meaning if the Ascendant is somewhere in the middle of the sign, not in the first or last 3 degrees of a sign, if the Moon is not VOC etc. etc. Also see if the significator of the new 10th is not besieged for example, meaning that the planet lies between two malifics. Look at retrogradation which could mean thinking things over or that you decide not to take the new job, whatever.
