In determining whether or not a planet is void, a parallel or contraparallel can keep it active. So I have a question:
What is the orb for parallel in horary? I was thinking 1.5* tops but would like greater. Some only use 1* for parallel in natal astrology.
Example: May 31, 2007 9 am DST Kalamazoo, Michigan. Mercury and Venus were technically void since trine Moon in Scorpio (my natal Moon is 29Scorpio). At event Moon was 25S49, moving south, Mercury was 25N19 moving South, Venus was 23N46 also moving south. Notice they were all OOB. Mercury had already perfected the contra parallel with Moon. He is moving toward perfecting parallel with Venus, though, in 1* 34 minutes. If the orb is stretched to 2* then they are active. But in real time, it never perfects because Mercury is slowing down to go Rx, he just entered shadow. He stations on my south node in 11th. Venus, being 2*3' from exact, will perfect the contra-parallel late evening on June 4. They will have just opposed at 29Capricorn/Cancer with Moon moved on into Aquarius.
So, what do you think? Moon is me, the ascendant and plaintiff in a worker's comp case. Mercury rules the body part, Venus, of course, rules money but also is the natural ruler of the defendant, who in this case, Saturn, is debilitated. Mercury also rules the 9th of the 7th and I'm wondering if what he said to my attorney will come to nothing because of something I made my attorney aware of before I left, that I was fired because I exposed them for covering up defects on medical parts, not because they didn't have work to meet my medical restrictions. So I'm wondering if they may reconsider and accept what the mediators said rather than go to trial. If so, it would be Monday I would think. Otherwise, the orb is too wide. Interesting thing, if it goes to trial 9am Juni 21 then the chart looks just like the chart for when I left there last Thursday, picking up where we left off. Then, Sun is void unless using the wider orb for declination. Then Sun would be contra-parallel Jupiter, perfecting mid July. They are both intercepted in 11/5 and Sun rules both 1 and 2. This trial has been postponed about 6 times so far due to the attorneys. I've noticed in both of these charts that 5/11 is prominant which isn't connected to the arms or work but it is bonus money, so maybe that's why.
I just realized, Mercury is at the solstice point of Pluto, being contra-antiscion and Venus is close to the solstice point of Moon so that would cancel the void too. But I still want clarification. Thanks in advance.
