Short or Long-term Relationship?

Hi all!

Could you please give your opinion about this relationship? I've met this guy 5 month ago and at first it went really well but now at the beginning of May it seems like a dead-end... and I'm pretty confused whether it is really over or there is a long-term potential, so it would be worth for me to try to fix it. The main questions in my head are:
- is this an one-sided interest on my part?
- short flame or long-term?
- is the distance a main problem? (3-9 house) because we currently live 1000 km away, but I could change it if it would solve the trouble.

I've posted the chart, I'm K (as Krisz), born at 06/12/1978 7:00 am, Budapest (HU) and he is M, born at 08/02/1977 3:00 am +/-1 hour, Amsterdam (NL).

There are minor break up to 17th August 2007.and after ths relation going continue for long time.Jupiter in retrograde,in your birth chart and Mars hitting by full strength,from 17th August 2007,after changing the position of Jupiter,Mars stop the attecking,to Jupiter,also in present time Venus in the 8th House,and next month going in the house of grand relation.

looking at the composite chart,there is a very intense sexual/emotional connection with a steelium of mars/venus/sun square to pluto.this is a very instinctual sexual hookup.the problem is that pluto's ego centered instinctual gratification trumps the sensitive ,romantic character of the stellium.the relationship can be only about sex.there is a juno/mercury conjunction opposed to jupiter,so there was much talking and expectation about a long term hookup.the problem seems to be the uranus/saturn midpoint opposed to the sun/jupiter midpoint which is conjunct eris[discord].this can indicate that the realtionship with not last and that he has be hesistant to committ from the beginning.

Radu, your insights had been quite accurate, thank you. Could you please name whose planets you meant in the stellium? I did not get which Venus, Moon and Sun you mean. Also both of our Pluto are there, so could it be that actually both of us has been 'killing' the romantic mood?
I thought the origin of the affection had been his Moon-Venus opposition hitting my MC, by my understanding also signifying the romantic nature you mentioned. I also have questions because of the retrograde Jupiter - Saturn conjunction. Actually the Mercury-Juno conj. is opposed by my Jupiter in the 8th house but also by his Saturn in the 9th house. Could you tell what this conjunction signifies?
Do I see right that the Sun-Jup. midpoint you mentioned is actually on his 5th house cusp opposing not only his Saturn-Uranus midpoint (incl. Eris) but also my Pluto? Seems to be right hitting the bull's eye...
