A chart I got wrong

Question: will X reply to my message?

Background: yesterday I wrote to X an email carrying bad news. Further details about the content of this message can be obtained in private. While I was sending the message, I wondered about the reply, so I cast an horary chart using the time, place and date when the message was sent.

According to the rules of horary, I shouldn't have received a reply. In reality my message was replied to within 5 minutes.

Two possibilities here: either I have forgot the rules of horary astrology, or I got the chart wrong anyway.

I will list the factors I considered in my delineation:

My significator is Mars, X's significator is Venus, and the message is signified by Saturn.

AC in via combusta: I have second motives (true). Scorpio as a deceitful sign: in a way, I lied.

Saturn is in accidental dignity, by technically being in the tenth house. However it is in detriment. The message was not well received.

Venus is in accidental debility (8th house) squared by a malefic (Mars) and by a modern malefic (Pluto): X is in the shits, has got no power to act.

Mars has got dignity by face and triplicity: a slightly better situation

No aspect between Saturn and either of the significators: no reply

Separating square between Mars and Venus: no reply

No aspect between Saturn and either Mars or Venus: no reply

Separating aspects between the Moon and Venus, and the Moon and Mars: no reply

No reception between the significators: no reply

The only factor that could indicate a yes to this question would be Pluto's collection of Mars and Venus' light.

When you do not have aspects between significators than you check out antiscia for significators.
Here, Ve antiscia, him, is on 2Can, and you, Moon at 0Cap52 will very soon opose it, and that is the aspects we need for "yes" answer. Because of oposition, as you said the message was not well received.

What about critical degrees? I have not learned about this yet, but does Venus going into Cancer (The First terms of Cancer being Mars 0-6) and Venus also going into Mars' triplicity, does this indicate a coming of mutual and mixed reception between the sigs?? Sorry if it's none of my business, but I just love learning about horary.

you do not need to have an argument to create a conflict. The content of the email was negative that is what square could be.

Yes, false promises were definitely made, but they didn't involve money.

I am not too sure about this. In a way the mail benefitted X. Things are quite complicated. To simplify, I'll say that what I did resulted in him being able to use some money that should have been mine. But spitting on that money and refusing it was a huge satisfaction to me. Apart from this, the mail actually damaged X.
