Hey you guys,

I know this woman very well and I'm afraid what I know about her will keep me from giving an objective interpretation of her chart. So, I'd like you to take your shots at it. I'm not asking for long interpretation. Just mention the things you find significant, good or bad.

Birth data : 28 January 1950. 07:00 am Ghazzah, Israel (Palestine). I think the coordinates are 31:30N and 34:28E

Thanks

Ok, I don't have a lot of experience with interpreting natal charts, but I can try. I'll at least point out some aspects and house stuff.

Conjunction Venus and Jupiter, Venus is retrograde. Conjunction is a combination, Venus is affection or spending or romance, Jupiter is expansion, luck, etc. I would guess a lot of sex appeal or lots of affections, but I don't know how to put the retrograde in their. Perhaps difficulty expressing it, or it goes wrong in some way, or it's not right in some way when she falls in love?

Trine Mercury and Saturn (R). Trine is harmonious, a good flow of energy. Mercury is communication, or perhaps daily travel. Saturn is contracting, concerns tasks, sometimes karma, organization. Saturn is retrograde, but it's not as important as Venus or Mercury retrograde. Perhaps this is that she is organized with speech or thinking (in a positive way-- the trine)

Sextile Neptune and Pluto. Both are retrograde. Sextile is also "good," but not as powerful as a trine. Neptune is divine love, illusion, dreams, idealism. Pluto is power, transformation, sometimes the occult.

Square Mercury and Neptune. Square is difficulties or challenges or stuff like that. Perhaps she gets caught up in dreamy communication sometimes or illusions interfere with her communication? Or she has to get beyond her illusions for good communication.

Moon on the 4th house cusp. The fourth house is angular (lots of effect) and the Moon is its ruler. The moon concerns emotions or relationships with others. The 4th house is a parent (some say mother, others say father), your house, childhood, realty, the grave. Maybe strong emotions about a parent or her childhood or her home (or what she considers her home)

Saturn on 8th house cusp. 8th house is "sex, death, and taxes," also tranformation, regeneration, other people's money.
Jupiter in (and close to cusp of) 1st house, Venus is as well.
Pluto in 7th.

(Sorry, that's it for now. I hope that was helpful)

Angel,

Thank you for your effort. It was of much help. However, I was thinking more about the following:
- The stellium in the 12th house (and in turn all the oppositions to Pluto in the 7th house)
- The fact that her sun sign is the same as her ASC.
- Pluto and Uranus being element singltons. Pluto in Leo is the only planet in a fire sign and Uranus in Cancer is the only planet in a water sign (her DSC is in Leo but and MC is in Scorpio I don't know if they count). Another singlton is saturn as the only planet in a mutable sign (Virgo).
- Her moon in 29:38 Taurus. Does this give Gemini some modifying effect on it?
These placements concern me the most, but of course if you see other major points, please point them out.

sorehearted,

- The stellium in the 12th house (and in turn all the oppositions to Pluto in the 7th house)
- The fact that her sun sign is the same as her ASC.
- Pluto and Uranus being element singltons. Pluto in Leo is the only planet in a fire sign and Uranus in Cancer is the only planet in a water sign...Another singlton is saturn as the only planet in a mutable sign (Virgo).
- Her moon in 29:38 Taurus. Does this give Gemini some modifying effect on it?

My thoughts:
- Energy is focused in her 12th house (spirituality, also confusion), so she may be "spiritual" or just may be confused about herself. Since energy in the 12th house is hard for a person to "see" this person may have challenges in identifying with her Jupiter (expansion), Venus (physical, also desires/relationships), Sun (self-expression), and Mercury (thinking/daily work). Since everything except Mercury is conjunct (energy is combined with) Ascendant (self), this person may find it easier to access all the energy mentioned except Mercury energy. The challenges with Mercury are increased with Mercury being square Neptune (with the effect as previously described) AND with Mercury being in house of its Fall (very challenging energy)

- Oppositions (over-excited energy) to Pluto (transformation, also power, control), if the person owns their energy could indicate a powerful person. However, if the person didn't own or didn't accept their energy this could create a "they're all against me situation" where deep, dark powerful forces from the outside are out there "to get me" (the opposition). This possibility is especially enhanced with the 7th house (relationships) involved. Since, as was mentioned, this person may have trouble owning the planetary energies Pluto is opposing, it might cause a paranoia, as forces from "all around" are pushing in on the person from no apparent source. If this is the case, the solution is for the person to own their power and become more familiar with their 12th house energy.

- Aquarius (friends, also rebellion) modifies stellium of conjunct Jupiter (expansion) Venus (physical, also desires/relationships) conjunct (energy is combined with) Sun (self-expression), so this person may express their expansive, passionate desires in rebellion

- Pluto (transformation, also control, power) and Uranus (friends, also rebellion), being singletons may operate on their own in a "my way or the highway" type of way. Since these elements are about Identity and Emotions, these two energies are strong in the person. Expressing Identity is particularly challenging, since there is only one energy focused in Identity houses (houses 1, 5, and 9). Pluto and Uranus are challenging energies, and can become violent if they are not owned and channeled into helpful activities (self-transformation, frienship building, world improvement, etc.). Since both Mercury and Saturn are in Material (also called "Mutable") signs, I am leaving Saturn out of this explanation since it is not a singleton.

- Moon (home, also emotions) is at a "fate degree" (strong energy): any planet or point at 0 or 29 degrees is in a "fate degree". This indicates STRONG emotions. The energy is in the sign Taurus (physical, also desires) so there is an emotional desire/passion here (in my opinion, the Gemini energy is NOT present). Moon is conjunct (energy is combined with) Nadir (inner world), so there is a STRONG emotional inner drive.

A few other notes:
- The energy is almost entirely at the top (outer world) part of the chart, so this person does things in the outer world and in terms of the outer world

- Mars (ancient ruler of Scorpio, Transformation, also power) is focused in the house it used to anciently rule (easy energy), making Mars (currently about being, also action) strong in the chart. So there is an urge to do "powerful action"

So, to sum this up, we have a person who may not recognize their own energy, may be confused in their thinking, may think the world is against them, expresses their rebellion passionately, has strong energies in power and rebellion, has very passionate emotional desires inside them, and who does things in a way that is VERY public (outer world focus). If this person uses their energy in way that helps to restructure and rebuild peacefully, they could help a lot of with efforts to transform and rebuild. However, if they do not learn to accept their own energy and instead use their energy in a "me against the world" way, they could be very dangerous.

About the importance of owning our own energies,

Tim
