Uranus and Venus Transits

Hi Everyone

At the moment, i have TrUranus, passing through my 4th house. It is now conj nChiron, Opp n Ur and Sq nVenus. With Venus as the apex of Chir/Ur?Venus t square. Tr Venus is just about con n venus in the 1st.

How am I supposed to be feeling this?

It has triggered something that happened 2 years ago. :D Something which eventually ended up with Astrology textbooks falling on my head!

This is beyond my skills at the moment. :oops: Can someone please help?

When a transiting (planets moving in the sky) planet conjuncts (energy is combined with) an aspect pattern in the birth chart, it activates that aspect pattern for the person. So the issues of the aspect pattern come up in the person's life. With Uranus (friends, also astrology) involved, it activates astrological issues.

Thanks for this reminder. I think, deep down, i knew the answer, I just didn't want to see it!!

So, when an 'astro friend' calls out of the blue (Uranus), its to remind me to get back to my studies. (Incidently, aspects & patterns is the next section!) The venus aspect (not astrological aspects) appears, its also a reminder to get back to work (nUR in the 10th). That fits. What I don't see fitting in is the Chiron in the tsquare. I'm going to have to work that one out.

WOW are you in the middle of your Uranus Opposition? How old are you? 39-43? All I saw when reading your post was what sounded like Uranus Opposition natal Uranus and as if that weren't enough........trans. Uranus is conjuncting natal Chiron in 4? WOW again!!! You're eyeball deep in transformations if I understand you correctly.

If you are indeed between the ages I listed and experiencing Uranus Opposition, I strongly recommend the book Liquid Light of Sex: Kundalini, Astrology, and the Key Life Transitions 1991 Barbara Hand Clow. I've left a link (General Chat) to her site where you can buy this book if its hard to find locally.

Uranus Opposition was THE most life changing transit I've gone through. Ever.....but that was just me. It may be much easier for you. None the less its one of the major life transits we all go through and it is or can be extrememly powerful and intense. Let me know about your age (I don't recall seeing your Chart here either) so I won't go any further with this now. Want to make sure I've got this much correct first :roll: .

How can one find out what transits are affecting oneself? Preferably a website I can visit that could explain this concept, as well as find out the dates of upcoming transits.

Learn basic birth chart interpretation first (perhaps here: http://www.geocities.com/wilsontctc ;) ). After you know how to interpret a birth chart, interpreting transits is exactly the same, except that the aspects transits make come and go, while the birth chart is there for life. As to where to find transit interpretations...there are many sites. http://www.astro.com is one of the most popular.

hi, wondering what a tr Uranus in the 4th house, like the author of the thread there, conjunct natal nn though, would do. 4th house family/home? Uranus shocking events there, explosions, tempers, et al? that encourage a evolutionary growth cause conjunct nn? but what if when one doesn't know it, I mean the "this is the time to grow up and this is the area you need to do it in" :roll: (not me, I do KNOW), walk away I guess and let them crash and burn I guess. Sometimes people need to learn the hard way.

Amazon! Forgot all about it. Glad you got the book and it is amazing isn't it? I had a "blocked Earth Chakra" and had nearly all of the symptoms she listed manifesting at Uranus Opposition. It was so intense and life altering in so many ways. I discovered this book at age 43 right after I'd just finished the whole thing 'cold turkey' so the book for me was an explanation of all the strangness I'd just gone through.

It should be mandatory reading for everyone under the age of 39 definitely!

Have I read somewhere that signs have rulerships over cities? If that's true, what sign is your nn in? Where can you fly to? Hypothetically, of course. Well, initially at any rate. :)
