i totally missed this newcomer's board and have been a member for like a month now. but i figure it's better late than never to post and introduce myself :)
i am student finishing my b.a. in psych and i am beginning my doctorate program in clinical psych this fall at CIIS. i have been interested in astrology for about 10 years now. it all started with my cancer sun sign horoscopes (which totally applied to what with my watery chart and stellium in cancer). but it wasn't until about 2002 that i picked up my first mountain astrologer and then signed up for module one with the faculty (that i unfortunately did not finish at the time- uranus transited conjunct my ascendant and moon and all hell broke loose in my life- and my studies took the backburner to other things). i now study it intensively- i have a HUGE astro library :) favorite authors are- liz greene, howard sasportas, robert blaschke (sp?), donna cunningham, and many, many others. favorite astrologers are- michael lutin, eric francis, and rob brezny.
my long terms goals are to integrate my psychological knowledge and degree with astrology. i am looking into the school of astropsychology to further my astro studies- but i won't be signing up for that while i am in my doctorate program.
i think that's it! i am very happy to have found this board- although i must say it is rather addicting and i find i spend way too much time reading all the threads- when perhaps i should be doing my other homework :) but i can't help myself!!!
i look forward to reading your posts and answering when i feel i have something to contribute :)
