For the first time in a while, I actually have strong/romantic feelings for a guy. We hit it off almost instantly, which is nice.
Is there anything in our comparative charts that stand out?
I was born on October 13th 1984 at 5:30AM in Somerville, NJ
He was born on March 31st 1987 at 1:10PM in Pietersburg (Polokwane), South Africa.
He seems to trust me quite a lot. And I find myself trusting him. I know we both have Taurus moons.

cat,
You and he have aspects between Uranus (friends) and Venus (relationships), which indicates "love at first sight". You also have an easy connection between Mars (being, also action) and Venus (relationships), indicating it is easy to "take action" in your relationship. There is also an easy connection between you with Pluto (transformation, also control) and Venus (relationships), which indicates a "compulsive" relationship: people in Pluto-Venus connections find themselves somehow drawn to each other.
One of the most challenging aspects you have between you is his Pluto challengingly aspecting your Saturn (duty, also structure). He may try to control you and you may resist his control. I call this "unstoppable force meets immovable object." This can cause a LOT of stress. I suggest you both agreeing to share control somehow.
Looking at charts,
Tim

Oh yeah. I can tell where the control issue comes up. He doesn't believe in premarital relations (and I do, to a degree). So I don't think this is a relationship I want to be keeping up with if it means that he has total control over the sexual boundaries. There needs to be a compromise. I think Pluto aspecting my Saturn in this is really indicitive of what I just mentioned above.
Thanks Tim.

Hey Jen,
Wilson mentioned you have Uranus/Venus aspects. A few months ago, I dated a guy that I had numerous Uranus aspects with in the synastry, including a Uranus/Venus trine. Things started off very quick and intense and then ended just as quick. So, in my case, Uranus did bring quick change.
We also had a lot of Uranus aspects in our composite chart. This is from astro.com "With the square of Venus and Uranus in the composite chart, you can confidently expect the unexpected. A relationship can flare up and then die with incredible speed. A relationship with this aspect is destroyed usually because one of the people tries to hold on to something within it. This makes the other person feel trapped and rebellious about the restrictions." In my case, the flaring up and then dying quick was true. The part about rebellion against the restrictions made me think of what you described, but I don't know if your composite has this aspect since I didn't run your data.
Wilson also mentions a Pluto/Venus aspect. A previous boyfriend and I had Pluto conjunct Venus in our synastry and, yes, we did have a very strong connection that we didn't want to break, even after the break-up. This connection was only severed by his new girlfriend.
So, it'll be interesting to see what happens with you. Keep us updated.

hi jenn,
in the composite chart, moon square to the venus/mars midpoint shows a strong sexual/emotional attraction, the sun is conjunct to venus showing spontaneous emotional/sexual attraction.jupiter is on the descendant indicating long term impulses keep coming up.
on the other side ,the mars/uranus square shows his youth and his need for independence.as the mars/uranus midpoint is conjunct to the sun/jupiter midpoint ,it is doubtful whether his need for freedom will allow longterm committment to set in.mercury is conjunct to neptunes which is terrible for honesty and openness.a lack of communication and possibly downright deceptions abound.and then when you do talk you tend to argue as the sun/uranus midpoint is conjunct to mercury.you have radically different ideas and trying to read his mind won't work.pluto in the 3rd house also shows there will not be mental openness.actually if you press for communication you will get a stubborn silence.actually,it is strange you are in a relationship because the mars/uranus aspect is more like a one night stand.i would have thought that you got together in middle jan,and am surprised yop are still together.

Well technically we aren't in a romantic relationship. We are sort of dating. And yes, sometimes he does get on my nerves...but he's funny too. Actually, I'm not sure If I'll even continue to date him...but just keep him as a friend.
But with a heavy Uranus...I might even change my mind some more.

Oh I do believe I am falling for this guy, despite his wishes not to have sex before marriage. We are spending much more time together. He's had a very positive impact on my music too. I'm not going to rush anything.....

Yeah...so much for a heavy Uranus. We're a couple...but his chances of returning to school are slim because of financial issues (lack of money).
So, who knows? Maybe it was over before it began. What a shame.
