Venus/Gemini/House 3 = poet?

My friend Kevin has Venus in House 3 in the sign of Gemini, and he loves to write poetry, like every day he churns out a new poem.

Does this have any connection? I think Gemini represents writing and communication, and House 3 is ruled by Gemini, Venus = beauty... any connection?

Or are the three completely unrelated?

Jupiter and the Moon are also in Gemini.

Hi all! I'm new here, but I also have Venus in Gemini in 3rd house, but I am a visual artist. But then, that Venus trines my natal Neptune in 7th, and Neptune co-rules(along with Jupiter) my Ascendant(Pisces).

I have Venus conjunct Mercury in Gemini trine Moon and Neptune and I am a singer/songwriter. It is such a natural thing to me too, I have a good 'ear' and can produce third part harmonies in my head. I love recording my own stuff and producing my own backing vocals. Perhaps the natural ability to produce harmonies is related to my Moon and Neptune being in Libra.

Venus in Gemini in the third can mean a poet, as in this case. It could also be someone who can commuunicte to others in a self-assured, self-respectful manner which respects others. A person who can mass communicate at a personal, face-to-face, one-on-one level even if miles apart from the recipient.

The important thing, like what Mia did, is not to hold this planet in isolation. The aspects it makes with other planets, the signs and houses those planets are in need to be taken into consideration and integrated together. This will help tell the astrologer what role poetry (or some other type of artistic medium) will play in the person's life.
