Dear horary specialists! (Radu, Draco and others).
I got a question the other day about whether some ex-collegues would be asked to come back to the Organisation they worked for. My question is not about if they do come back or not. My problem lies in finding the significators of an EX-collegue. I looked up collegues in Bill Rex's book of Rulerships and it seems, they fall under the 11th house. But as they are at the moment no more a collegue of the Querent, should I still use the 11th or move to the 7th as them being " the other people"? Second problem, they were working for a very large organisation, not a company. I also looked that up. Large Organisations fall under the 12th, but the Rulership books then also gives a list of separate houses for separate Organisations. Like religious organisations, Jupiter, so I guess the 9th house, Sports Organisations, Mars and Jupiter and 5th house. So here it gets already more complicated. Should I consider both 12th house and one of the other houses? When Mars or Jupiter have nothing to do with the organisation I am interested in, should I still look at these planet positions? Or should I just look at everything? I personally feel like just looking at the 9th, 5th or whatever house the Organisation belongs to, otherwise you get so many indicators.
One last question. When the 4th house of endings of the Querent has Saturn retro in it, and Saturn retro signifies the Boss of the Organisation, does that mean that he is asking them back (retro), that he is undecisive or is it a plain sign of "NO"? Thanks so much, I really need to know this and cannot find it anywhere.:)

My feeling is to take the ex-colleagues involved one by one, doing a separate horary for each one and taking each one as a 7th house enquiry. Another approach, if these ex-colleagues constitute a group (or faction) would be to use the cusp of the 11th house (of groups or organisations) Due to the complexity of the question, I would personally take the first approach...If you used the 11th to significate, you would move to the tenth house from the 11th (the 9th) to look for connections/outcomes...As you have already recognised the 9th as a relevant house (re organisations) this would work.Interestingly I have found, whichever method you use, you still get the same answer. If these people are friends of yours, it makes sense to use the 11 cusp.I would look at the aspects between 11th, 10th, 7th and 4th for a question like this. In regard to your last question, I think it would depend on aspects made by fast-moving planets to that retrograde Saturn ( a malefic retrograde can be a serious impediment to progress...especially on IC or MC. )Hope this helps as opposed to adding to the confusion (of Saturn R opp NEptune, exact NOW!!!!) lol. lillyjgc

Thanks for answering me Lilly! Funny that you mentioned taken each one separately, but the thing is, I dont know these people, dont even know their names or positions, except that they are lawyers, so I guess I will have to treat them as a group (they all worked together) and try the 11th. I also have gotten same outcomes with different significators! It seems that if the outcome is a Yes or No, it works for all different approaches (as long as you stay more or less in the same environment for the significators of course). Yes, I also looked at the Saturn retro as an impediment in the 4th, but was a bit hesitant because he also signified the Director of the Association, difficult one! So I decided to look at the ruler of the 4th and see what sort of aspects that one makes and the last aspect the Moon makes. Usually that is enough to get to an answer. I personally think that these men all have moved on and dont even want to consider coming back. Thanks for your comments!

hi starlink, your ex-colleague, if you don't consider him as your friend, i think it should be signified by the 7th. as to the big organization that he is working for, it's his "employer", depite of the form or nature of it, it's signified by the turned 10th. just a thought

Hi Themis, thanks for the thought. They are not my collegues, but ex collegues of my daughter. They are not her friends, she does not see them privately. They were highly positioned and because of some serious todoo, had to be chucked all at the same time. But they are probably missed dearly (whole department had to be re-arranged) so she heard rumors that maybe, MAYBE they would be asked to come back you see.
I will look at the turned 10th of the 7th. I already looked at it from my daughters point of view, now I will do the guys (as a group). See if the answer is going to be the same-. Really difficult one this is. I had hoped that Radu or Draco would come to my rescue but have not seen anything for a very long time coming from them. Maybe elsewhere in the Forum?
