Your post was looking a bit lonely so I thought I had better send one to keep it company!
I have just joined today.
I am an engineer with a practical logical mind (Cap. Sun and Ascendant- yawn!! Moon in Libra & 9th) yet am fascinated and amazed at how accurate astrology can be.
Can you recomend any good websites or software?
Blessings and Happiness. :D

Welcome to the forum DeepThorkus! Lots of different schools of thought here re: different software, web sites, books, you name it!

Recommend you spend some time reading the different threads first, then whatever resonates for you, ie, natal, predictive, karmic, horary, etc...follow the thread or ask for book recommendations on that thread.

Astrology Weekly is a great place to find book and program listings as well.

TCWilson is a contributing writer to Astrology Weekly and has a great site for learning the basics and interpretating charts.
His site:

http://geocities.com/wilsontctc/

He also has some recommendations for books there as well.

If you have any natal chart questions or one question in particular regarding your chart, post the question in the natal category and be sure to note date, exact time, if possible, and location. Many use their own programs to input info vs leaving a link to another site or chart.

Another favorite site for charts and information is:

http://www.astro.com

Again, welcome in!

:D HI everyone - I just got onto to this post as I enjoy Astrology Weekly with lots to read!

I'm curious if anyone knows what PLUTO SQUARE PLUTO is as I have this from January 2005 to November 2006. Is this a mid-life crises?

Welcome in.

Here is a link to the thread you might learn more from regarding Pluto square Pluto aspect.

http://astrologyweekly.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=4051#4051

also from astroscoped.com, interpretation for pluto transiting your tenth house:

PLUTO TRANSITING YOUR 10TH HOUSE (approx. 14-30 years duration)
You may desire greater political or professional security during this period. Important issues concern public credibility, corporate ethics, product safety, and secret or sensitive information. You may want to improve or remake the power structure and strategies of your business or profession. You may have increased dealings with corporate business and matters related to joint finances, corporate money and shares, insurance, pensions, and taxes.

Go read the thread and feel free to post more questions on other threads, regarding your chart and transits.

:D Hi (Amazing) Amazon

Thanksomuch for the input! Incredible, I'm my career recently has just started being involved with what you described! I had a vague idea this Pluto aspect was like a mid-life crises and hadn't realise it had alot to with my work.

I promise you I didnt do anything 'amazing' that you cannot do yourself. I just plugged your birth data info in and looked for transits. Transiting Pluto squaring your natal Pluto and looking to see 'where' Pluto was located in aspect to your natal chart. Recently in the forum we had quite a discussion going on Pluto transits and its effect on the individual. All I did was share a very superficial interpretation of the aspect in question...

Keep reading the forum and asking questions. Keep learning about your own natal chart and interpreting the aspects. You will find what you are looking for. Your 7th house is quite interesting, Pluto and Mars in Virgo (the 7th house cusp ruler) and the Libra stellium with Mercury, Uranus, and Jupiter also in your 7th house.

I recommend you post a query or particular question under the topic of Natal/Predictive astrology in the forum and see what input you receive.

Mid-life crisis....gotta love how life kicks you in the posterior and wakes you up to what is and isnt working.

If you havent tried using this site yet, please do! Informative and free!

I wouldnt get too hung up or worry excessively about any 'negative' interpretation you might receive from beginning to learn about astrology or the transiting aspects. Oppositions, squares, and conjunctions uniquely provide the individual an opportunity to learn, overcome and succeed, however, this is entirely dependent upon the person willing to achieve the lessons. You are the one in charge of how you respond to external energies, no one else.

I can state this from experience having hosted a very difficult Uranus oppostion transit the last year or so and transiting Pluto opposing Uranus, my moon, sun, etc. Still ongoing at this time as well! The difference isnt that the planets are transiting something else, its that I 'learned', overcome obstacles and personal limitations, and am succeeding in changing my perceptions and how I incorporate them in a positive and constructive manner.

You are very welcome and I hope you keep learning and applying!
