Hello... I need some help!

I'm kind of new to Solar Returns (and still not even sure if I believe it works.)

But.. this is mine for this year. But.. there's like a "double' Grand Trine (Pluto and Jupiter both aspect) and the the opposition to Neptune.

I have no clue how to interpret this chart. This year is going to be a big one for me... leaving for college! But.. I have to decide soon on whether I want to go to Northern Arizona University (1500 miles away) or Kent State (only 150) So yea.. making MAJOR desicions this year.

But... just need some help interpreting, because I'm still unsure of the validity of Solar Returns, as opposed to Progressions and Transits.

Kyle,

I don't use relocation in creating Solar Returns. So when I do your non-relocated Solar Return, I see North node (future goals) focused in the 9th house (expansion, also higher learning) and Jupiter (expansion, also higher learning) conjunct (energy is combined with) Descendant (others). Sounds kind of "college like" to me! ;) There also is a lot of energy focused in the 9th house. The kite is focused on Neptune (spirituality) focused in the 8th house (transformation, also occult), so maybe this is a year to get in touch with the spiritual side of the occult (such as...oh, let's see...maybe...astrology! ;) ).

Turning and returning,

Tim

Hm.. actually, I recently bought some Tarot cards and have decided to get in touch with my "spiritual" side... I've been an atheist in denial of all things supernatural for a few years now, but lately I've been questioning this kind of stuff.

My natal Mercury just progressed into Pisces a few weeks ago, so I figured that that was the "cause" of my sudden interest in spiritual things.

But like... Progressions vs. Solar Returns... I don't know which one takes precedence.

Kyle,

Don't think of it as a "precedence" issue, think of Progressions and Solar Returns as two different types of "astro-tools". Progressions are used to show the types of inner changes that are going on inside us, such as the Mercury (thinking/daily work) progression indicating an inward change in your daily thinking. Solar Returns are about the overview of a birthday year (the time from one birthday until the next birthday).

Using tools,

Tim
