WOW! what an amazing and well described perspective on the laws of the universe! ty very much it is very inspiring!
Funnily enough, me and my dad had a talk last week about whether the universe was held by a "higher authourity" and i said i needed a bit more convincing for it to be described that way..
looks like the universe was listening in after all! >_>

Thanks, AqMn. The very day I saw this post, my chiropractor had tried to talk to me about this movie. He seemed surprised I didn't know about it. If you have read Jeff Green's book on Pluto, you may be familiar with the conflicts about spirituality that people with Pluto in the 12th house have. I was only able to watch the first segment because my attitude towards the subject is so negative, but I am glad I got to look at it.

moondance,
when you read something negative about any subject, this is the best time to gather other interpretations. pluto, no matter where it is placed is the planet of rebirth/reform and the house likely gives the source of this rebirth, that it comes from internal resources or external resources, the 12th being internal resources and you seem to be sharing, not hiding!

I read nothing negative. I rejected spirituality/religion at an early age for private reasons, and I have recently re-read Jeff Green's book on Pluto which describes my attitude perfectly as being common for people with Pluto in the 12th. I've never minded sharing, it's not an issue.

Moondance, yes, I do have the Jeff Green book. "The Secret" has to do with the Law of Attraction, positive thinking, metaphysics, not spirituality. Some people are attracted to this stuff, creative visualization, while others are not :)

If it were based solely on quantum physics, I would agree with you, and I didn't watch the whole series, granted. But my past experience with "positive thinking" type movements makes me feel that they are built on "blaming the victim" psychology, wherein the person who has greatly suffered brought it on themselves by negative thinking. I will try to watch the whole thing although I find it difficult, as I know my chiropractor will nag me about it next month.

I know what you're talking about, Moondance. This is how I reconciled the two:
Yes, the "victim" did draw the circumstances to them with negative thinking. However, it does take two to tango. The other person - the "victimizer" did not have to make the decision to take part. They could just have easily chosen the merciful route. Either one can break the cycle.
Ever meet anyone who is really defensive, just knowing that everyone will treat them badly - and they are totally disarmed when you treat them with kindness and respect? You just broke their reality that they were creating for themselves and gave them a new perspective.
Hope this helps give you a new perspective on it - I know it gave me great peace when I understood this.

I was thinking more of innocent children who are beaten , starved, abused, etc. I refuse to believe they brought it on themselves. Positive thinking is only possible when you have enough positives in your life already, I think.

Eastern wisdom attributes that sort of thing to karma from past lives, but why bad things happen to good people is really a puzzle that each person has to figure out for themself, beyond the scope of "The Secret."
"The Secret" is about attracting anything from a good parking space to more joy and better relationships - but don't believe anyone who tells you this. Try it for yourself when you are open to it, when the time feels right, and see for yourself.

Hi, Watchman. Lol. I have "The Sedona Method, Your Key to Lasting Happiness, Success, Peace and Emotional Well-being," but I haven't gotten to it yet. Did you read the book or take the course? It was a best seller and the course has been around for a long time. It's popular. Does anybody else have it or has read it?
