My question is if I should get the surgery done with Dr. X. Now I'm not sure if the significator of surgeon (not surgery) is the 6th house, 7th house or 8th house. I would think it's the 8th house, but I've read on other threads that it can be 6th or 7th. The ascendant is via combusta which does not sound good, but I don't really know what it means for the ascendant. I know it's bad for the moon. Anyways, I would be venus which is in Taurus, which is good, and if we look at the 8th for the surgeon, then he would be venus too. Would this mean a yes? The moon is not making any aspect to venus, but it is in libra, venus ruler and venus is in taurus, moon exalted in that sign. If we look at the 6th house, then surgeon is jupiter and venus is making aplying conjunction. Would that also be yes? If we look at the 7th, then mars is the significator, mars retrograde in applying trine to venus. That seems to be a yes, but I don't know what it means if mars is retrograde. I know mars also represents the surgeon, but mars is retrograde for quite a while, so would that mean that I shouldn't ask this question until mars goes direct?
Also, last aspect moon makes before it changes sign is conjunction to saturn. Does that mean I won't like the outcome of the surgery? Can anyone help me understand the answer? Thank you.

(Following is not in accordance with standard horary practice and uses whole sign house format)
(Note: most horary sources indicate the 8th house for surgeons; I generlly follow this view, and use the 8th house as Dr. X in the following delineation)
-querent = 1st house = Libra = Venus
-Dr. X = 8th house = Taurus = Venus
-surgery = treatment = 10th house = Cancer = Moon
-querent and Dr. X share same significator, which is posited in its rulership in Taurus = + testimony
-Part of Fortune is in Dr. X house (8th whole sign) and Venus flows toward and is in applying conjunction to the POF = strong + testimony
-treatment (ie the surgery itself), Moon, is posited in Libra in querent's 1st house, disposited by dignified Venus (significator for both querent and surgeon) conjuncting the POF = very + testimony
-6th house (health related matters) is under Pisces, disposited by Jupiter
a) Jupiter is in Dr X's house = + testimony
b) Jupiter conjoins the POF in Dr. X's house = + testimony
c) querent+Dr. X's significator, Venus, flows toward Jupiter and in fact is in conjunction with Jupiter = + testimony
All testimonies are +: the horary answer to this question is, yes, querent should get the surgery done with Dr. X as the surgeon.

Thank you Dr. Farr! I have also noticed that saturn is in the 1st house and retrograde. What does this mean? Does it have a different meaning if we use whole sign house system?

It would have been a -testimony EXCEPT that in Libra Saturn is exalted, so the exlated Saturn balances out the - of Saturn in the 1st house, and we get a net neutral (0) influence (hence why I did not include this in my delineation)
