If radix venus (in cancer) makes good aspects with all transsaturnian planets (trines Saturn, sextiles Uranus, trines Neptune and sextiles Pluto) does this mean that this person has many contradictory qualities in his relationships? While needing security, he is also very independent, while needing boundaries, he is seeking to dissolve himself...?

That sounds reasonable to me. However, since all these connections are "easy connections" the energies would blend easily into Venus. The result is the person would feel that their relationships are EASILY (not contradictorily) all the things you mention. Strange for us to understand, easy for them to live! ;)
