It's too early to tell in my opinion.
Not sure when you and your partner were intimate but it wasn't too long ago.
hi tina,
thanx for your opinion.
I really don't know, so you think it's early?
ok! thanx again for your post.

5th house which is looked at for pregnancy is at an early degree as far as i can tell meaning it's too soon for a judgment.
ask the question again in a week or so but try and post a chart from www.astro.com as the program you are using is very confusing to me.
hope someone more knowledgeable can share their thoughts..
good luck
tina
thanx again for your help!
ok i 'll ask the question again in a few days!

Hi,
Actually, one looks to the Ascendant for an indication that the question is too early for a judgement, but that still doesn't mean you can't read the chart. It just means that it's early in the situation for a full picture to possibly be seen by the client. I'm going to go ahead and read the chart.
As per this chart, you are not pregnant.
Scorpio, a fertile sign, and a sign ruled by the ruler of the 5th of fertility, rises. Mars, ruler of the Ascendant, is retrograde in the sterile sign of Virgo. This is the first indicator that you are not pregnant.
That you definitely want to be pregnant is indicated by the presence of the Moon in the 5th house, showing your concern with having children, with Venus, ruler of the 11th, wishes and hopes. You're hoping you are.
As tina1979 mentioned, 0 degrees of Aries is on the cusp of the 5th house. Aries is a hot and dry sign; not too conducive to a fecund womb. Moon and Venus are both in Aries. Aries is the detriment of Venus, so she doesn't have much power to grant your wish.
As mentioned before, Mars rules not only the Ascendant, but the 5th house, and his retrogradation and sign occupation point to a negative.
no not pregnant by this chart
you want to see the 5th ruler in the asc
5th = baby
asc = you
need to see the 5th in the asc
or moon passing the 5th ruler (event has to have happened)
fertile planets on asc and 5th
you and the 5th ruled by mars in retro virgo moon in aries not aspecting
better luck next time thou:smile:

I worked out as per my calculations Vedic Astrology. When I picked this question I calculated according to that time and if I am wrong, then I must recheck my calculations.
I don't know yet if you 're wrong or not, but I 'll know in a couple of days! So, according to your vedic calculations I am. We 'll see! thanx again for your time and help!
to the people answering dimi here
THIS IS THE HORARY CHART AREA
A Horary question is asked from the moment the person wants to know a answer to something and then the chart is created for the time that it is asked.
Therefore it gets read a "specific way" useing horary methods
For those that are usuing verdic astrology please take it to that area... NOT HERE
Because you are confusing the person who posted the question with different methods and therefore she will recieve diffrent answers.

The horary rules on the forum now allows for any and all types of techniques to be used in the horary area. If a member wants only to be answered in one discipline, it can be requested (not that it is guaranteed that will happen) and does not have to be moved to another area of the forum. The one item to mention that needs to be addressed is that an answer should show how the conclusion was arrived. An answer without an Astrological explanation is otherwise "fortune telling" or in some cases, just a guess, and that isn't what the forum is about.

One thing I have always done is to head all of my horary posts with a disclaimer that what I am presenting is different than standard/traditional horary. I do this so as not to confuse OP's when my delineations are at variance with those of our friends who use standard/traditional horary methods. Although this is not an AW requirement, nonetheless I would like to suggest to our other friends who use non-standard methods, such as Vedic prasna horary, to consider doing something similar with their horary posts as well. Just my suggestion!
dr.farr can you tell me please your opinion about this chart?
I havent been here for a while now i remember why.
dr farr you allways tell people what type of reading your giving and there has never been any confusion with that.
thanks for setting that straight wintersprite1

I gave you a standard horary reading from that chart
normaly one wants to see the 5th ruler in the asc
fertile signs or rulers on both and the moon having past a aspect to one of these also.... but having said that some have proven to be wrong
I dont like mars rx and moon not aspecting it for a positive answer
maybe its to early maybe the question is to premature, some charts have been too early as you have to have fertilisation happened.
lets see what happens
and of course all the best for you

thanx again for your reply and your help! I understand your reply and your explanation about my chart. If i am not, hope to get lucky the next time!

Havent been here for a while, bit busy with my yoga business. But little look at this chart suggests a 'no'. Moon's final aspect is with opposition to Saturn, in Saturns detriment, Saturn ruling the 4th house end of the matter. 5th house is on the cusp of Pisces and Aries. If Mars rules both house of ascendant and 5th, that would show some promise, Mars is also retrograde though which makes me doubtful.
Though look, Moon is in exact trine to North Node. Plus n node in the first house! That looks positive. Though, I dont usually consider Pluto (it not seen in traditional horary), it forms a square to this at the same time which makes me think 'no'.
Benefic Venus is in the 5th house, a positive, though its in its sign of detriment, caneclling out that positive.
All in all, I think its a 'no' for this time round. Good luck though for this or the next time/s :)

dr.farr can you tell me please your opinion about this chart?
(Following is not in accordance with standard horary practices and uses whole sign house format)
I am unsure with this chart: I am going to have to give a "maybe" answer: why? I use whole sign houses, and in whole sign I find the 5th under the fertile Pisces (in whole sign 6th house = Aries) Plus the fertile Scorpio on the ascendant: these are quite positive indications; yet, significator Mars is retrograde and in barren Virgo, Moon is in the 6th whole sign house and under the barren Aries, as is Venus, in the 6th, in barren Aries and furthermore, in its detriment: these are quite negative indications. Ruler of the whole sign 5th house, Jupiter, is potent as ruler of that 5th house, and is in the fertile Taurus and posits th angular 7th house and the Moon does flow toward it (Moon also flows toward Mars and Mars retrogrades back toward both Jupiter and the Moon)
Mars retrogrades toward Jupiter, but then there is no applying aspect between Mars and Jupiter. Sun and Mercury posited in the 5th whole sign house are - testimonies, but then the Sun sextiles lord of the 5th, Jupiter, sextiling from the 5th house, which is + testimony.
Sorry, but for me, at least, its too close for me to call either way: so, I'll say, maybe!
NR and dr.farr thank you both for your help and your posts!
No pregnancy.
Just took the results:sad:
sorry
keep trying I know youl get there, sending you some best wishes and good luck

Sorry to hear the result, but to me this chart was close (at least by my unorthodox approach)-too close to say either way for me!-so, I think circumstances at the present time might be very positive for you to try again! Best wishes on that!

Now that this is a known outcome matter, I would like to see what the "mechanical" (that is, non-interpretive, "automatic") method of Al-Sadwali, regarding pregnancy questions, would have indicated with this chart:
-1st house = Scorpio = fertile
-5th house = Pisces = fertile
-8th house = Gemini positing the SN = not fertile
-11th house = Virgo = not fertile
-lord of the ascendant = Mars; Mars posited in Virgo = not fertile
-lord of the 5th house = Jupiter; Jupiter posited in Taurus = fertile
-Moon posited in Aries = not fertile
-Part of Conception posited in Taurus = fertile
-lord of the Part of Conception, Venus, posited in Aries = not fertile
Results of Al-Sadwali method:
Fertile = 4
Not Fertile = 5
Net = Not Fertile by +1
So the Al-Sadwali method (mechanical method) would have given a (correct) "no, not pregnant" indication using this reference horary chart.
(In my use of the Al-Sadwali method for conception/pregnancy questions over the years, so far I have found it to be correct in about 3 out of 4 instances)
