Background: Talking to a new gentlemen A...One problem, I found out he's best friends with another man, B, who I had a couple one night stands with.

since trust is imperative in an adult relationship, if there is reason to mistrust it will sooner or later come up, though likely disguised as some seemingly unrelated issue.
if this is not an adult relationship, then your focus should probably be on the length of this relationship. many relationships are not adult relationships, rather more of a parent/child one and there are lots of struggles in these.

Thanks for your reply. I'm not sure what it is yet, or even if I'll like him as much in person.
I actually have only been talking to him for a few weeks, it's long distance..should be a first date this month....given nothing botches it up.
